I just got 6 calls, one right after the other, from this number. No messages were left and the caller ID said "Unavailable." I am on both State and National "Do Not Call" lists. I have blocked all future calls from this number.

On multiple days I have received several (8 just yesterday & 3 today so-far). They accidentally left a message on my voicemail of their conversation.  They obviously did not know they were being recorded.  I also called the number back.  From what I gathered they are a state funded environmental/energy conservation organization.  They do not leave messages (on-purpose that is) and call back repeatedly.  I am also on the do-no-call lists.  The identification that comes up on caller-ID is "Texas" and "Unknown Name".  I doubt the validity of this organization!

Got a lot of calls from this number today.

I know a family member didn't get on the list and has gotten NO calls


So something tells me the DNC list doesn't mean a thing

Several calls today; no message. Harassment!!!

Called like 6 times today, no matter what time of the day, morning or night.  Leaves no message.

If it is classified as a non-profit organization or a charity, the Do Not Call List does not apply. It has been suggested on other sites that you file a complaint with your states AG office. I know it does not help in Texas because the so-called Clothing Donations continues to harass people with daily phone calls.

Because of their tactics, I question if they really are with the Texas Energy Commission and have e-mailed the actual Texas Energy Commission to find out if they have authorized phone calls from this number.

I just talked to the Energy Conservation division of the State of Texas .  This company is not a Nonprofit company representing them. They
told to call the fraud division of the State attorney General's office.  1-800-252-8011.

I was reading these omments when they called a second then a third time. I decided to take the call and nip this in the bud. I would  not acknowledge my identity so they are determined to call back to speak to meLOL. I may answer, since they have my name already and already know that I am the homeowner. Int5eredtingly, the connection was mysteriously "lost" when I said that this number was on the DNC list. Hmmm....

6 calls today in less than 2 hours.  Called the number back and the answered as a environmental conservation company.  Asked to be removed from their call list and she said she would do that but never took my number.  A lot of noise in the background like a call center.  I am on the "no call" list but somehow they are getting around it.  

Call after call after call after call.  Disgusting!  What can we do to make them quit?

Six calls in one hour.  I do not answer numbers that say unavailable.

Same thing, got 6 calls, one after another.  Perhaps employing a caning technique would serve useful?

answered call . they asked for wrong parties. stated this was a cell number and not residence of persons they were looking for. sound like a phone bank in back ground . did not ask nature of call

They called my number four times already today : November 9th 2013 I don't answer so they keep calling me over and over!

I just got 5 calls in a row. Caller ID says Sugar Land, TX. I got so frustrated I answered the call.   It is a global call center for the energy conservation center.  They are calling to set up appointments with home owners.  To do what I don't know I was so angry I didn't give then a chance to further explain. I then requested the name of a supervisor & spoke with Janet. She said she removed my # from the call list.  She further gave me a number of a manager to call & complain. 1-888-949-5195 & naturally I left a nasty message for Daniel Hawkins.  I was cut off because I had a lot to say!  Any idea how we can get these callers in trouble.  What good is the do not call list?

I just nipped it in the bud and blocked the number from calling me more than once. That'll show them.
