currently experiencing a 3rd day of calls - at least 10 calls per day, no message left, logging calls at various times between 8 am and 10 pm.  don't know source, however caller ID says:  "operation divis"

this number keeps calling

Most likely this number from Houston, Texas belongs to GE Money Bank.  If you are past due on your card (even a day late), they're literally harassing you.  If you have a card from JC Penney (my wife's card), Lowe's (a card I received as a gift, which I called GE Money and cursed them profusely, demanding they destroy the record they had on me), Home Depot, Old Navy, WalMart, Sam's Club, Mohawk Carpets, some dental payment plans, Linens & Things, Sears (allegedly), some PayPal, Kirkland's, Dillard's, Macy's, and numerous others, you're dealing with GE Money Bank.  In a nutshell, they're thieves, nothing more.  Best thing to do is to pay them off a quickly as possible, cut up the cards and never do business with them again.  If anyone is interested, they've got a number of serious complaints against them, some have been filed with various state Attorneys General:

He is a collector that obviously buys old accounts that were never collected on. He is not GE Money, he is a private collector or an Attorney that buys accounts and attemps to collect the money for the debt. he is a third party collector and i repeat is not part of GE Money!!!! I called this [***] back and told him what he was doing was illegal and was considered harrassment. I also told him I was on my way to file a report with the police and expect a phone call from them. I also reminded him that my aacount was between me and GE NOT Me and Him!!  I also am currently looking to file with I believe it is the FCC or one of those agencys that investigate [***] like this guy and shut them down. This guy thinks he can call any time....even at 6:00 am or 10:00  and even on Sundays, wich is illegal as hell!! Keep copies of your phone calls and take them to your local police dept. After I threatened this A$$hole...he stopped calling. He knows what he is doing is illegal as hell!! Threaten him if he calls you...I bet he stops. He has me so angry that I am gonna make sure he is shut down. I am filing complaints anywhere I can!! I suggest you do the same! =)

he keeps calling me as well...starting as soon as 7AM sometimes. He doesn't leave any voice message and sometimes calls numerous times in a row. He needs to be stopped. Is it illegal in all states or just where you live because I live in Nebraska and they seem to not care about that very much.

I just my new phone # and it is unlisted.  They have called three times today. Did not leave a message.$1000 dollars because I am turning him in.

I have received three calls from this number ... two of them today.  All three times they have asked for my ex-husband's widow by name, and they tell me that my number (which they state, and it is correct) is the number they have as their contact number for her.  I live in Maryland and she lives in Indiana ... no way is what they're telling me the truth, so I have no clue why they would be calling me to get in touch with her.  This sounds like a harassment call all the way ...

Harrassment.  Calling 2 to 3 times a day.  Never states why.  Asks for Kathleen Douglas or Kathleen.  No one lives here by that name, never has.
