This is Time Warner Cable (Houston) calling incessantly (8 of the 60 last received calls) about their greatest new offer (which I do not want) for cable TV (I'm one of their cable Internet customers). They must be trying one ring and then hanging up because I only actually answered in time on two occasions. Both times they would not stop talking after I repeatedly said that I was not interested in their offer, so I had to hang up. And they had the nerve to call again today.
Oh my God! As soon as Comcast took over from Time Warner and started with their business tactics I canceled my Internet and Cable Services and switched to other providers. Paid off my balance and told them to remove my number as I did not want anything to do with their company. So the Sales pitch calls stopped for a while but are back again. I just called and complained and was told they could could not stop the calls because I don't have a account with them thus my number could not be blocked and that they outsourced my phone number to someone who works for them. I told the lady they need to contact them and stop them from calling somehow or I would sue for harassment and that I all ready reported them to the FCC for unwanted calls. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said they could not do anything either. I again explained I don't want any services from them and would never do business with a company like there's and that the calls need to stop somehow and hung up. I can't believe I had to wait on hold for 20-30 minutes to try to get them to remove my # and I don't even do business with them. COMCAST SUCKS!! they need to be Banned!! Go Back to where you came from and LEAVE TEXAS!! you're a horrible Company
It hardly rings once before they hang up. This happens several times a day. Please stop calling me, especially if you are not going to give me a chance to answer
I have been bothered with this dam calls from (713-341-1000). Several in a day, or 1 day... its just rediculous. I tried to call, the number is always busy... like its a computer program caller... I am interested in filling charges and suit against Comcast / Time Warner..... I would suggest that anyone reading this go to this web site.... https://www.donotcall.gov/Complain/ComplainCheck.aspx https://www.donotcall.gov/Complain/ComplainCheck.aspx
As a start.... get your complaint documented... I work in law enforcement, and they are screwing with me.... but not for long... =o) They have been calling my cell phone, not my home phone.... so I am really pissed... maybe your cell provider can block it? Good Luck!!!!
The call was from Comcast Cable. I didn't answer, but they left a voicemail saying that there would be some changes in my "high speed cable service" over the next 24 to 48 hours. They also said they would e-mail me instructions on how to change my Road Runner e-mail account over to a Comcast e-mail account.
Beginning July 16,2007 this # has been calling every two hours beginning at 9:30am and ending at 8:15pm. I answered once and asked him not to call again. Didn't work. July 27th he must have had the afternoon off because he called once an hour till noon. July 28 he started calling again at 1pm.

starting last thursday....starting about 10am, i get calls about 10 every hour and 10 min. asking for the calls to stop didn't work. read some of the compliants here and filed on with the fcc yesterday. after 7 calls in one day, i've had it...
I, too have recieved the same treatment as the other people posting. My phone is a cell phone and also registered on the Do Not Call list. I will be filing a complain as they are most surely a violator.
Don't bother with the FCC. They said because we have a business relationship with Comcast, do-not-call doesn't apply to them. Our only business dealings with Comcast is that we pay our Earthlink internet bill through Comcast.
I have been getting calls on a daily basis from this #. I have no idea what Comcast wants, but it's probably to tell us about their latest and greatest. I've also gotten several calls from the Houston Chronicle, so I assume they are hurting for business.
