Got a call from this number, didn't answer...

got a call on my cell from this 'unknown' number 713-357-6139... They did not leave message - have no idea who or what?

The call is from a fake drug company located in India. This company sells cheap counterfeit drugs that may make you sick and/or kill you.

I made the mistake of talking to them once and now for the last 7 years they call me like clockwork...every week or so using different phone numbers from all over the world. I have my number set up so people can't harass me, but it doesn't help when it comes to these people. I block each number as they call or I would get a call from them every day. I have not had any communication with them since the second time they called, but it makes no difference to them they just keep calling. Some people must give in to them for their tactics work.

Who knows, I wish I didn't have to deal with it, but we live in the days of pirates.

Only an idiot would buy drugs online without a doctors prescription.

I receive phone calls from phone # 1-713-357-6139 almost daily. The caller said I would have to give him a $100. to put me on the do not call list!

Over 300 calls from this company this year. Send nasty messages to their web sites, hotmedstore.com, 1000rx.com, genericall.com, easy-perscription.com, trustedcaremeds.com, many others. flood their servers with complaints. If you have the time and money keep calling their 888 number. I would like to start a class action law suit against these a---holes. any one with me. MG

Continually get a call from this number... Its crazy!

Please give out their 888 number.  
Turning the table on them and calling them constantly works and will eventually get you to a supervisor and they will take you off their general call list.
However you may be on multiple call lists so you might have to do it more than once.
The general callers are very rude and I dont know how they got my number since i never ordered anything from them.

I recieved a call from them, i told them that i was on the do not call list and i would need their info to report, the man with a very strong accent hung up on me. I called back and he said he was with Candian Pharmacy, i explained this is a soliciation call and i will be contacting my lawyer. It states in the DNC law that if you do not have an account active with a company they can't call you.  He said ok.  I told him my lawyer would be handling this call situation!

I received a call from this number this afternoon - again. The person stated that he could save me huge dollar discounts on my meds by ordering from them and received my medical information including my phone number from my local pharmacy. THIS IS IN VIOLATION OF THE HIPAA COMPLIANCE - PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION. IGNORE CALLS FROM THEM. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. I CALLED MY PHARMACY AND THEY ARE REPORTING THIS TO THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE.

I have found that if I list the callers number in my phon book as spammer #1 etc..I can without answering,  delete them every time they call. works for me!

got call from this number today. I wish they would stop harassing me. I am on the national do not call list, but i see that does no good.

I'm sick of getting calls from these idiots.....so I call them about every 10 minutes to tie up their lines. EVERYBODY who has free long distance should do the same. Call after hours and leave REAL long messages and render their phones useless.....

I receive about 2 calls a week from this company. they  use a lot of different numbers. It's a man with a India acent. I just hang up. I must learn to llok before ans. I'm 76 yeaars old and they use up all of my minutes which I can't afford to lose. It is stalking as I have repeated over and over not to call.

Calls from different numbers two to three times a day.  I don't answer and they never leave a message.  PLEASE STOP CALLING!!!!

Me too, they have called me for years.  They also will try to extort you by telling you they are with the DEA, that they have arrested someone that has records that I ordered drugs sent to me from out of the USA.  First I have never ordered anything from outside the USA.  They really start the harrasing calls then, they will destroy the records with your name on it but they will have to have money to makes this happen.  Just do not answer the phone from any number you do not know

DEA Warns Public of Extortion Scam by
DEA Special Agent Impersonators

The Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the public about criminals posing as DEA special agents or other law enforcement personnel as part of an international extortion scheme.

The criminals call the victims (who in most cases previously purchased drugs over the lnternet or by telephone) and identify themselves as DEA agents or law enforcement officials from other agencies.  The impersonators inform their victims that purchasing drugs over the lnternet or by telephone is illegal, and that enforcement action will be taken against them unless they pay a fine.  In most cases, the impersonators instruct their victims to pay the "fine" via wire transfer to a designated location, usually overseas.  If victims refuse to send money, the impersonators often threaten to arrest them or search their property.  Some victims who purchased their drugs using a credit card also reported fraudulent use of their credit cards.

Impersonating a federal agent is a violation of federal law.  The public should be aware that no DEA agent will ever contact members of the public by telephone to demand money or any other form of payment.

The DEA reminds the public to use caution when purchasing controlled substance pharmaceuticals by telephone or through the Internet.  It is illegal to purchase controlled substance pharmaceuticals online or by telephone unless very stringent requirements are met.  And, all pharmacies that dispense controlled substance pharmaceuticals by means of the lnternet must be registered with DEA.  By ordering any pharmaceutical medications online or by telephone from unknown entities, members of the public risk receiving unsafe, counterfeit, and/or ineffective drugs from criminals who operate outside the law.  In addition, personal and financial information could be compromised.

Anyone receiving a telephone call from a person purporting to be a DEA special agent or other law enforcement official seeking money should refuse the demand and report the threat.
