This number is a fraud. A man Daniel Hamilton will contact you saying he has a warrant for your arrest. It comes from a MagicJack number. If you do a reverse lookup on the number it's is a landline in Houston, TX. He will argue with you about setting up a payment arrangement. He will state he represents US Legal Support. This is not the case. I have contacted US Legal Support and they are well aware of this man fraudulently representing their company. Please do not give this individual any of your money.

This is someone breaking the law. Do NOT fall for it. Whatever police department they say they are calling you from, call that police department and let them know, ASAP.

Same deal jerk on the phone with a BS story of an unpaid loan and arrest warrant. This call is immediately preceded by a female caller with town police dept. number that confirms your address. It's a scam, and a pretty low baller. Call you PD to report also call you r Attorney Generals office.

Unfortunately, I became so afraid about this arrest business, that I ran right out and got a money pak card and paid this Daniel Hamilton $300.  He told me that he would send an email explaining who I owed 768.00 to but that if I paid $300 I could stop the arrest.   After I did this in fear, I decided to call the Hampton, GA police department to see if they had in fact called me; they told me they don't do any such thing and that I was most likely taken by this person.  I am out of $300 because of fear.  I feel so stupid.  He acted as though I didn't have time to do anything but get this money to him.  I should have known, but fear causes people to do foolish things.  I did a foolish thing.  IF YOU GET A CALL ABOUT YOUR ARREST, PLEASE DON'T GO FOR IT AS I DID.   I AM 65, A RETIRED PROFESSIONAL EDUCATOR AND I GOT TAKEN TODAY.  
DANIEL HAMILTON stated that he would send me an email.  I haven't gotten the email.  He also told me that he would call me back to set up further payments for this $768 of which I now owe 468.00.   He also told me that if I paid $500 the debt would be paid in full.  HE NEVER TOLD ME WHO I OWED.  I JUST BECAME FEARFUL AND SENT THE MONEY.  I WILL NOT TELL MY HUSBAND WHAT I DID.  I FEEL SO FOOLISH.  PLEASE DON'T GIVE DANIEL HAMILTON ANY MONEY

now I know, but I was so fearful that I ran out and paid the money. I hope no one else gets caught with this scam. Wow. 300 that I could ill afford

I sure wish I had thought I had time to look on the internet, but Daniel Hamilton told me I only had twenty minutes to get this done.

This is a fraud and easy to fall for. He said his name was Mark Joseph and had a Indian accent. I called the authentic number for the IRS and they said don't worry this is a scam . But when they call and say "this is the police department" that's were they get you. They are professional scammers, be ware.

You mean to say that all anyone has to do is call you up and threaten you with arrest and you'll just like that go get a Green dot money pak and send the funds off to a perfect stranger?

Christ!  That's unbelievable.  

Rule:  If any one with an Indian accent calls you and -- 1.  threatens you or 2.  offers you something, you know it's a scam!

Now that someone has successfully scammed you, you can be sure you will get calls from other Indian scammers.  Don't fall for them.

As I say, you can look forward to being hit with more scams.  For Christ sake, ignore cold calls!  Don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize!    You will probably receive more threats.

They call you from this number. Then you will get calls from your local Sheriffs office..yes, the number will show up as the local Sheriffs Dept number on your caller ID! If you call the number back, your Sheriff Dept will answer! That is how people are being scammed and are afraid. PLEASE don't send money to them. I don't know how they make these numbers appear as law enforcement!
