It is Verizon.

It's actually NOT Verizon. I am not the primary account holder and still get calls from this religiously regarding a change in account, a change in bill, etc. Verizon would not and does not contact anyone but the primary holder for such matters.

This is a scam.

Yes, this is Verizon.  I am not a Verizon customer, but my son in the military is and every few months something goes wrong with his automatic bill-pay settings and I start getting his collection calls because he put me down as an emergency contact.

Getting ready to dump Verizon after 15+ years. Have tried to resolve some problems and they do not want to help. Look out AT&T here we come.

The problem is with the MiFi. The device starts to overheat and living out in the country, the only alternative was the MiFi for internet connection. (No cable or high speed access) Went with Hughes Net for the connection that we were told that we would get. Service getting worse.

Has this number contacted you for anything other than collections?

Ten years with VZW, at one point 5 lines, premium phones and services. They want to fuss about me being a couple days late?! Nice to know I'm appreciated lol

I agree, CAPS. The only time I get the calls is when I fail to pay my bill on time. I don't mean a few days, either. I'm not forgetful, I'm just broke most days.

been receiving calls that this is verizon message retrieval center and to enter 10 digit phone number to retrieve message, after putting in mumber says no message availabe.  Has caused big problems

They call me all the time because I ported over my phone the last two weeks of my contract. They told me in the store I owed nothing so they are now on my Do Not Answer list and it's a silent ringtone and a simple deletion of voicemail should they leave one.

Verizon letting me know they need $$.  I go on the webservice & commit a payment in 7 days & it stops until the next month . . .

Well, I'm confused about receiving calls from this # seeing that i am not on Verizon network or have ever been on my friends plan. I get these calls on my phone for his bill of course when hes behind. I called Verizon to find out why, and they stated maybe he has put me down as an emergency contact. When i called my friend that has verizon he said he hasn't put me down as anything. What are the odds that (I) out of (ALL) his contacts are getting the calls on his behalf.  Puzzling to me...!

Unwanted call delete

I called this number back and it's simply a message center letting me know my payment was late. However, this is not a number where you can pay your bill. Not incredibly useful considering they also send me a text and an email with this information.

got a phone call from this # claming to be verizon. Wanting me to play by bill over the phone. i called verizon and this is not a phone # verizon will call people from and will not make you give info over the phone

The phone number *IS* from Verizon Financial Services.  You can call 611 from your verizon phone to verify the number was actually from an actual Verizon customer services representative.  They were able to verify this number called me today twice to get me to make a payment on a past due account.  Again, this number is a real Financial Services Verizon phone number.

As always, NEVER give out personal or financial information on a call you did not make, from a number you verified. Find out what they want, look the number up (bill, online, phone book), call them back.

It is indeed Verizon..It's a payment reminder call which is followed up with a text to your cell phone.

This is a scam, total BS, and uncool.  Don’t call back, F them.
