These people called my cell phone while I was at work.  I asked them to identify themselves.  A woman said something unintelligible but I did understand "Recovery Services."  I told her that I don't have anything in collections (NO bills except house payment) and please don't call this number any more.  She started to yell at me while I was talking.  I think I hung up.  Then I called back and got a man.  Asked him who they are and why they're calling me.  He screamed something unintelligible at me and then hung up.  I don't know how they got my cell phone number....I don't give it out much.

These guys called my place of employment.  I told them to DNC me at work anymore.  I gave them an alternate number to call.  They called back a few minutes later, got my boss on the phone, and asked him to set up a pay-deduction from my check to cover my account.  I owe the debt, but this was just unprofessional!  My next call is going to the Attorney General.

This phone number belongs to "Recovery Services."  A very aggressive and unethical debt collection service.  So my lawyers says.  We have no debt problems.  However, the people that owned the house we  bought last year does. We have absolutely no family relation to the previous owners of our house.  Furthermore, we have a new phone number neither previously associated with our address nor associated with the previous owners of the house. However, we have been constantly called by Recovery Services almost daily for 3 to 4 months.  I have formally requested them to take us off their call list.  They admitted that they knew the house and phone number are not the previous owners'.  Their strategy is to irritate anyone that might be able to give them information; there by coercing you into helping them to make them go away.  However, if you tell them anything, you then become a verified source of help and or information to Recovery Services.  And they will NEVER STOP CALLING.  If they sell the dept to another collection company YOUR NAME and PHONE NUMBER GOES TO THE NEW COMPANY.

Currently we have lawyer working on these pests.  My advice is to have an answering machine that can record calls.  A Phone log.  Ask a lawyer what behaviors of Recovery Services can give you solid grounds to sue no money down.  And just wait and take very careful notes.  Give Recovery Services lots of rope to hang themselves.  Your consolation could be around $3000 after the lawyers' cut.

This company continues to call. I do not know anything about them.
I owe them nothing, oh, by the way, my computer says this phone number is a very aggressive collection agency. I don't owe them anything.

I hang up on them but they continually call back. My sister has answered
the phone and they ask for me. She asked who was calling, got some answer like "RED lINE". Who are they what are they.

How do I get them to stop, it's not me they want.

I think they just go after anyone in the area that has the same name.

These people called my home phone several times asking for someone else that we don't know.  We don't know how they got our number but it sure is getting old.

Calling your employer is illegal. Know your rights and you wont get screwed.
