Received a call thank me for my support of the cops.  Wanted to know if I would continue my support.  Tried to talk really fast.  When I started to question him about the organization he hung up on me.  I called back and the line was busy.

I just got the same call. I am upset with the man who called he hung up in my face.

The same thing happend to me. Just like Jenny, He hung up on me and pissed me off! I just got off phone with him. This is a barred out druggy. THIS IS A SCAM! I herd other peopletalking  in the background. Many profanities and nothing resembling a police union at all!

I just received the same phone call.  When I requested name and number to call back, he just said use the calle id, but would not give name.

Now it's my turn. He ask for money to support police between $2000, $1000 or $500 - i have to choose. When I started ask questions he just hung up the phone. Those people are thief's and will ask you number of your credit card. Be careful.

I received a call from this number asking me who I was...apparently they got my name when I filed for a DBA or my State Tax Permit....he called me and said he was with Houston Police Department and wanted a donation for "United Care"...When I told him I wasn't interested he told me to go "f" myseld and hung up...don't know who this is,  but gonna call the HPD fraud dvision in the morning...does anyone know any other information....?

Called my home phone.  Caller ID showed up as "United Shares".  I did not answer and they left no message.

Lately I have received a number of these calls. They call annd hang up before I can even talk.
I would love to find out the source, and give them a piece of my mind!

This is appears to be Houston Police Department Running a Scam to Help officers who were on the wrong side of law.The Caller clearly identifies himself as an officer of houston police dept. He asks for donations for helping meet the legal costs for defending police officers. When I asked him "doesn't the state of texas provide for that " he said no. When I refused, he said he knows where I live and what vehicle I drive, and said " expect yourself to be in trouble preety soon".Houston Police Dept needs to investigate this. Next time , people need to tell this guy they gonna record his phone call , do that and send it to News networks to see whats their take on this. This is worse than afganistan where the war lords come to businesses to ask for ransom money, if they don't give any they, kill them and dump their bodies near US  / NATO command posts, blaming the deaths on foreigners.

he's called my office for the last 2 weeks asking for the owner and I don"t pass the call, I just keep saying she"s not in so he hang up. Caller kiss off

The number calls but hangs up before they speak.  Think they are just seeing what time you will answer you phone and later will have a stooge call to try to get money.  Lucky I have call control on phone and quickly added 713-541-0907 to the black list.
