713-579-7000 - (Caller ID: MERIDIAN MGMT) has been calling my 83 year old mother. They call repeatedly.  She doesn't owe anybody any amount of money, but this company or criminal, keeps telling her she owes them money.  FALSE!!!!  Harrassment is the only true description of these rude and, I think, breaking all the rules and the laws of our nation.  These calls have made it difficult for her to sleep or do her daily routine.
What can I do to stop this?

Tell them to show PROOF... Send IT... Then send them a Ceast and Desist letter to only contact you only by mail. If they contact you again after you send a certified letter you can take legal action.. Email me if any questions... dogface208@hotmail.com

and i have a check that i cash  ( which is not truth ) of 2,000 .  on jul 2007 is all a lie ... they want me to send them 3000$ from bank account to account... with out proffs ....they have not send me a letter or nothing to proff that i own them $...

Gentleman called me at home.  My son answered and said I was not available.  The guy said, "well, isn't that her I hear talking in the background?"  My son says no, that's my sister...(It really was)

I received a call from a person at this number stating that he has a file with my social security number on it, and that he would like to discuss this with me before it goes any further. He requested that I call him at 866-835-1915 xt 6002. His tone of course was bitter and forcefull. I am quite certain that I don't owe him anything. I don't intend to call him back. Note that my voice mail does not even state my name, rather a general message asking to leave a voice mail. Further more he closed the message by stating that if I cannot return the call that either my spouse or my attorney should return it for me. I don't have a spouse, so that is my first clue that he/they know nothing about me. I will wait to see if I receive a physical notice detailing his/their aligations.

I have had several call from this Brockfield, Brackfield, i cannot figure it out. I have recieved several calls from these people with threat of leagal action. I also have returned several calls asking that if they have the coreect person to send something in writing so I can respond. Up to date they have refused in any way shape or form.
Today I got a call from someone named, Michael Dorsey, who stated that he has notes to my return calls and wanted to resolve this without going to court. I still do not know what this issue is about, and have never had anything by mail. Hmm, what do you think? I smell a ratt!

I have not had to go far to get much information regarding this pool of scum! They are not in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Act and should by every corner be stopped. Please take the time and report them to your states attorny generals office if they are abusing your rights. I did it helped

I received a call ref an old account from 2003 however, when i asked questions about how they attained my phone number the caller got aggrevated and starting telling me how this was affecting my credit, i asked him to send me the "offer" in writing. He then accused me of trying to use a stall tactic???? Like the other person said i heard a lot of chatter in the office. Oh this is the best part i offered a lower settlement amount and he "emailed" the creditor and got what seemed to be an instant reply to accept???? So i hung up on him it was very unsettling. I just don't understand how they had my old address but my new number.  why i hadn't received any letters or previous phone calls. something is not right.

I got a message saying from a Lindsey Wiggins saying that it was imperative that I speak with her today.  She left an 866-835-1915 ext 6108.  I DID not call her back because I checked the 713-579-7000 number here FIRST.  I am assuming it is a collection agency from what I can see here.  I know of no legal action/

Hi, I read your post and would like to send the Cease and Desist letter you refer to, but do not have an address to mail to.  Please advise further if you know.  I have been contacted repeatedly by these people and they never want to divulge an address.
