They are NOT a non-profit.

7136965500 appears as CLOTHING PICKUP.  They are relentless!

I keep getting calls, sometimes twice a day from 713 696 5500.
It is very annoying, and when you call back, or pick up the phone, no one is there, and when you call, no-one answers.

PLEASE CAN YOU LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN STOP THIS ROBO-CALLING?????

Call every day and its really pissing me off

Repeated phone calls daily! Several times a day. Stop calling!!!!

The phone calls from 713-696-5500 are considered a form of harassment.  They have made many phone calls in a day and every day of the week.   Wish all cell phones have blocking features (of course any emergency phone numbers are unblockable - like 911 and/or local/federal law enforcement agencies).  I have to put my phone in vibrate mode.  It is very annoyed!!   Another wish is to have some laws to cut off these ridiculous calls.

i am another who gets their calls i never pick up now on the weekends they call at 8am and 10pm.. and i never pick up.. there must be some way to get them to stop but under the title of a "charity" they can continue.. isn't there some gov or some organization out there to get after such phone calls..they call me 3 or 4 times a day.. and we never pick up.. thank goodness for caller ID..

I have Time Warner and I am able to block all these annoying calls from my computer.   I just found out my phone company has this feature and I love it.  They can't call me 2-3 times a day anymore!  Call you phone company to find out how to block these

This people are really pushy! They keep calling several times a day. I finally said 'ok I will donate used toys', then they quit.

This number is from a sort of "call center" asking for donations of clothing, furniture, and/or household items.  They sometimes call for Houston Achievement Place, other times for Texas Paralyzed Veterans. They will schedule a pickup in your neighborhood if you have anything to donate.  They do leave a receipt for tax purposes.

I agree that sometimes they don't respond when you answer the phone.  I often wonder if they get paid every time they place a call.  But a few times, I think they have the speaker phone on and just keep dialing numbers on their list.  When you do answer, it takes them a few seconds to get off speaker and use the handset.  The times that I've waited a few seconds before hanging up, they have responded.  And if I tell them I don't have anything right now, they will wait about a month before trying again.

Since they're basically calling for charity organizations, they aren't bound by the DoNotCall rules.

I'm using Call Forwarding Selective Feature 5500 calls I forward to 5501. 5501 calls I forward to 5500. It works.

I have talked with a person. They asked me for donations for vets. Seeing as my husband is one i asked what organization did they help, and if my family can be helped too.  The woman promptly hung up. Scam and using our solders and vets to do it is awful.

These people call me either 2 or 4 times per day.  The phone says "Clothing Pickup", supposedly a United Way charity.  I have asked them (by answering the phone) at least 3 times to stop calling me & remove me from their list, but still they call.  Because of their repeated calls, I WILL NEVER GIVE TO THE UNITED WAY.

They have been calling here for months. As someone said, they are relentless. But I got even months ago by blocking their number with my DigiTone Call Blocker (this is NOT a commercial message). Someone calls that I don't want to receive any more calls from, I push "Block" twice. From then on, they hear one ring and a hang-up. I hear nothing but it shows up on my call blocker screen so I know it did its job. Costs about $100. And, I might add, I fill it up with the 80 number limit quite often and start deleting the older numbers who have (hopefully) given up trying. You can even block entire Area Codes - I have 555 totally blocked. There are that many scammers out there. Just imagine if we all had Call Blockers or Call Blocking, they would all be out of business! Oh, and you can identify your friends and family members with a VIP designation so their calls come straight through.
