Also got a call with computer generated voice message about a legal matter

Received a Robo-Call from this number.  I called back and they claim they are the IRS!  But then they started asking about family members, etc.  I highly doubt the IRS is making Robo-Calls; the person they claim they want to talk to has never received any tax bills, etc. so it must be some other type of scam.......

Called and they said they were the IRS. They said he owed money.

Recently had social security fraud and could not file taxes. Got robo call from 713-701-5034 saying they were the irs and to call back since a lawsuit was being filed against me. Reported incident to police.

Just got the same call.  The IRS would NEVER robo call.  Actually, they would not call.  It would be a letter.  So, if you get a call from this number, it is a SCAM.  Do not call back.  They will just pressure you into "settling" a debt that you do not owe.

Keep leaving messages saying they are from the IRS and there is a legal matter pending.  Will need to return call before they file suit in your county.  Called back from a different number and they only want to speak with my daughter.  She will not be calling them.  The man identified himself as Gary Jones.  Speaks broken English.

They have called 3 times!

said they were from the IRS and there was some sort of debt which would be filed in county court so please call before this gets filed.  IRS sends letters and they file in federal not county.

I returned call as my Daughter, which is who he asked for.  She is stay at home Mother for last 2 years.
As soon as I ststed asking questions, I was hung up on.
I certainly hope some young person doesn't fall for this!

Same as above only they said they were going to send the Sheriff to my door and arrest me for not paying taxes.

I called this number back and absolutely berated the man on the other end of the line. Meanest I have ever been to anyone in my whole life. Kept calling back even though they kept hanging up on me.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

They called and left voice mail with robocall from 713 number and then called back the next day with live person from 800 number claiming I was being sued and implied if I did not pay, I would be taken to court.
