Same here.  I'm not buying it either.

It is NOT the IRS - just a thief trying to steal your money.  The IRS mails letters if there is a problem.

I received 2 voice messages female robotic voice claiming IRS was filing lawsuit and to call the number.
I had received a similar call on my voice mail several months ago from Charles Schneider alleging he was calling from IRS informing me to call 703-957-7824 as they wanted me to know that I was going to be served and may be subject to arrest.

Rec'd 2 calls leaving voice messages to return a call to 713-701-5428. This has happened in the past.  What can I do to put a stop to this?

Doing a search this number is a landline in Houston, TX.

We had one too - from this number telling us to call this number. Left a message on our machine that the iRS was filing a lawsuit against us. Anyone try calling back just to see what happens?

2 calls on my answering machine from (713)701-5428, saying same as these other posts. This has to be a scam. I think if the IRS were going to call to sue you, they would probably have a certified letter sent. I feel bad for any elderly person who may fall for this.

Just got a call from 713-701-5428. The caller sounded like same Asian guy who has been trying to get my information for the past 3 years. First it was for some Medical Card for seniors, and now he is the IRS. Someone needs to put this scammer in Jail and throw away the key !!!

Also used (509) 228-4633. Exact same female robo (scare tactic) call used. Should be tracked down and imprisoned for 100 years!!!
