- Thom LynchIndividual at the above number stated his name was Michael Davis and was attempting to illicit information for a "supposed delivery". He then asked for the address and my social security number from my wife...she immediately hung the phone up...I believe this individual is attempting to illicit information for the purpose of obtaining funds illegally...a violation of the RICO statute.

- KMWJust called looking for my sister-in-law, who has never lived at our address or had this phone number. When I told the woman this she hung up on me. My sister-in-law had a debt collector looking for her before Christmas so this is probably the same thing but was bought by another collector.

- saj| 1 replyMe too! I keep getting calls from this number 713-766-4286 saying...
CALL 1 - "This message is intended for XXXXX XXXXXXX. This is Joslyn Clark. I'm calling to advise you that I have certified legal documents that I need to have you sign for. Before the documents arrive, just wanted you to know we have you scheduled for Friday. If you have any questions or if you are not going to be available, contact the claimant's office directly. They have left their contact information here for you. That is 855-977-2142. ID# here on the paperwork is XXXXXX. Again, we have you scheduled for Friday. You will need two forms of ID for this process."
CALL 2 - "This is Joslyn Clark, just calling to remind you that today is your scheduled delivery date. I have left you a couple of messages prior so you should be fully aware. If you still have questions or if you're not going to be available, you must contact the claimants office at 855-977-2142 and the ID# here on the paperwork is XXXXXX. Again, we have you scheduled. You will need two forms of ID for this financial process."
I called 855-977-2142 and Tyler answered saying he was with Asset Management company. He needed to verify my identity by providing my full name and social security number so he can discuss the case details. I gave them my full name and refused to give my SS#. He said he has my SS# and wanted me to verify the last 4 digits. I gave him the last 4 digits and he said 'no' that is not even close to what he has on the record. Again I asked, what is this all about? He said he can only discuss the case with XXXXX XXXXXXX. I said I am XXXXX XXXXXXX and I want to know what this is all about! He said if I cannot provide the correct SS# then he cannot discuss the case. I said 'fine' and hung-up!!- Call type: Debt collector

Also, if you were threatened with an "arrest warrant" via a phone call or email, read this:
http://news.uscourts.gov/warning-arrest-warrant-scam
"The warrant is phony. A valid warrant would not be served by fax or e-mail. It would be served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer."
"Anyone receiving a fake arrest warrant should contact the FBI or the district U.S. Marshals Office. If there is any question regarding the authenticity of a warrant, contact your district clerk of court."
