Said they are calling from Advantage partnered with Verizon, to save me money on my phone bill once I told them I have an account rep at Verizon that I deal with only they hung up on me.  Please be careful with companies like this if they have a recording of you saying "yes" they can lock you into additional plans that you are unaware of.

They keep calling and no one responds when I answer.

They  keep calling - no one on the othewr end- they are going to sell your info - maybe to a legit company, maybe to a thief - they now know when you are home or not...

phone call from 713-771-1890.  When I didn't speak quickly enough, caller, who was asking to speak to person in charge of phones, hung up on me.  All I can say is they're [***].

Watch out.  She says she is representing Verizon and told me I am eligible for lower rate.  Told her if I can verify with Verizon.  Suddenly, she went crazy " we are not another phone company, we are with verizon"
I told her again " I just want make sure".  At this point she hung up.

I just received a call at my business line stating they were the service providers for my telephone company.  I am in Canada and with Bell Canada.  They do not use service providers.  I asked for a phone number for them and he said the operator would give it to me.  Then said it would take about 5 minutes with the operator, I said I did not have the time and he said he would call me back.  I am now prepared if he does call me back.  THIS IS  A SCAM!!!!!

Received a call today from this number, when I picked up and said hello, there was no response.

Got a call this morning from ?? asking may I speak to the person in charge of the telephone for your BUSINESS?? duh!  There isn't a business on the number called so where do these jerks get their information?

Claimed to be "service provider to Bell", Aliant or Reliant. I told them I wasn't interested and she got snotty with me about she is trying to save me money and that they are the company that provides service through Bell. I told her I only dealt directly with Bell and hung up.

Received a call at a business and they said they were Reliant and they had a new contract with Bell Aliant that they were informing customers about.  When I advised them that all of our phone services is taken care of at our Head Office, they said that they were speaking to our Head Office and were told to call each branch individually.  After they gave me the info they said they needed my authorization.  I told them I could not give authorization and that I would need to contact my Head Office.  They said they couldn't give me a number to call back, but they could set up their phone to call me again later in the week.  I'm still waiting for my Head Office to get back to me to see if they have any info about this.

Caller wanted to speak to the person in charge of the phones. I said that was me. Gave me some schpiel about being the long distance provider to ALL the phone companies, but now able to offer lower long distance rates directly to the customer. Declined the "offer" as it sounded fishy to me.
