recording at 6:30 am saying they were the IRS and were filing a lawsuit against me, I hung up at that point.

Called at 6:30 in the morning, which was the first indication this wasn't legit. Message said they are calling because the IRS is in the process of filing a law suit against me.

Same scammers called at 8:00 A.M. claiming to be IRS.  Hung up

same thing they say IRS was filing a lawsuit. I was audited by IRS and was not like this, they sent  a letter. an intimidating one they think they own you. lawmakers should stop IRS from bullying us

I got the same phone call and it is a scam.. they just wanted my information

Received a voicemail recording at 11:00 am saying they were the IRS and was filing a lawsuit against me. To get more information regarding my file I had to call back immediately.

I had someone calling from Houston, Texas saying that IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.

I just got a call and they are saying they are the IRS and asking me to withdraw 3,950.00 and there is a lean on my bank.  That there is a lawsuit against me in my name with the attorney general.  They could not send me any information on the amounts owed.

Got the same call - they called twice. 6:30 and 9AM - IRS lawsuit and to cal the number

Got a robocall from this number.  Claimed the IRS, Internal Revenue Services (note plural use of Services, NOT CORRECT, IRS is Internal Revenue Service, singular.

Also IRS will NOT call, they will send certified mail, or some other paper means to contact you.

I received a call around 1:30 PM from an female robotic like voice informing me that the IRS has been trying to reach me about a lawsuit being filed against me and should call them.  I hung up.  The number was 713-894-6153.

I got a call from this number at 1:26pm today , SCAM

I got the same call with automated message. When I called back, I asked where they were physically located, they replied Washington, D.C. So I asked 'why am I calling a Houston tx number' and the Arab phone operator said 'f*ck you, mother f*cker' then hung up!

I just got a call with recording and same nonsense.  IRS does not operate like this and if you call back a real live person answers!!! The IRS is a system of recordings and prompts... even if they are suing you... you are not that important.
