Got the phone call saying from irs

Female robot voice.  IRS is about to file a lawsuit.  Gave me phone number to call immediately.  Did not write it down.

I love these! Lol I call em back over and over messing with them and such they blocked my number on several of their fake numbers haha revenge is sweet!

This is a fraud phone call , and a SCAM
If it was really IRS with a genuine concern, they would send all the info by mail, and
not a phone call

blocked my number as i called them back...it rang and rang...a man in an extremely noisy room sounded like he had an accent of india answered the phone saying it was IRS and they would come and arrest and file a lawsuit...so cruel they are to prey on people like this even as joke...

the number they gave to call was the same as the number that came up on the caller id that you used to report the call...

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Just got my call, here in new jersey.  No answer when I called back, just a very static line.

GOt the call and sounded like a man with accent. I asked to identify himself and he told me his name was John Miller with his badge no. IRM7727. I also asked him for his supervisor name and he told me Kevin Brown with a number to call 202-239-6535.

Got an automated call saying that the IRS was filing suit against me.  After a moment of panic, I realized that this is a business phone line.  Maybe the IRS is suing every worker and everyone who comes through our doors?

Bot Message that IRS is filing a lawsuit.  Suggest that the IRS stop these scam calls.

phone number left on my voice mail-but no information***probably that fake IRS's calls that were received prior.

Left an automated message to call about a court case. Didn't give any details. My friend's dad had a similar call from another number claiming they were going to arrest him because he owed the IRS money. The phone number was disconnected 2 days later.

So when the call first came through it said Russia and looked like this +7 (139) 724-88-3 then when the message was left on my voicemail, it was a TX number 713-972-4883 with the message that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. It's a scam, do not be scared or alarmed. This fraudulent person(s) got your name and number somehow (these people are really cleaver) and is trying to scare people into releasing their personal information...DO NOT FALL FOR IT! If the IRS is truly filing suit against you, you will get a letter in the mail from them requesting you take further action. They may even send you a letter certified, and that is how you will know it's REAL. This on the other hand, is a scam, from Russia posing as a Texan.

Obviously a fraudulent call. I am wondering how long these numbers can go on before being shut down by appropriate authorities.
