Med-alert SCAM for people over 65! Plus $3,000.00 free food!!!!!    DON'T DO IT!    BAD BAD BAD  Caller ID=ALERT

The Caller ID said ALERT.  Have had calls before from ALERT, but at another number.  It is a scam of seniors who are promised a "free medical alert" system, plus food coupons.  I will report this number to the FTC.  Frankly, it is time for federal legislation beyond the DNC registry; it is time for legislation that provides penalties to telephone/telephony companies who lease line and/or facilities to scammers, especially after notification of violations of DNC and scams.  This would provide incentive for telecommunication companies to investigate and respond affirmatively to consumer complaints and to provide documentation leading to arrest and conviction of those continuously perpetrating fraud and scams.

They have called me numerous times, you would think after a certain number of times when no one answers that they would take me off their list-I am also on the no call list.

They are basically criminals and ignore all laws.

This number along with several number changes, call ALL THE TIME.  Please stop these unwanted and harassing phone calls.  They are scams and when one picks up the phone they immediately go into a taped message about senior citizen needs.  We don't NEED THEM!

This is a discussion forum where one can report or describe suspicious or unknown phone calls, but reporting them here does not stop the calling.  YOU have to take action to do that!  (google is your friend).  Consider buying a call blocker from your favorite store if nothing else works.

Thanks for into on this phone number - we just received a call from them and were concerned because it said ALERT.  Glad we ignored it and will continue to do so.

Caller ID said Alert. Answered and hung up quickly as I did not recognize number. I'm in Tn. Called at noon. Will not answer again as I now know what it is.

Caller ID said Cell Phone CA, nor Alert.  Did not answer.  Thanks for the warning, though.

Just rec'd calls from both these numbers one-half hour apart.   I decided to return call to see what happened.  Both numbers have automated answering; however, if you listen, they tell you to press 1 if you no longer want these calls from them.  I did so for both numbers.....so we'll see.   I am on "do not call list" for both "national" and TX calls....doesn't make any difference, they still call.

Male robot:  "Don't hang up.  This is not a sales call. AARP …."  I did hang up and set a block on the number.

Received two calls 30 minutes apart tonight, one 1-714-233-2131 & two 1-714-233-2130, both Caller ID (Alert).  Did not answer. If they were important they should have left a message. NO MESSAGE.  Definitely a SCAMMER call.  These calls should be stopped.  They are TERRORIZING homes all across America.

Call came across as Alert on the caller id.. I let all calls go to answer machine unless I know the caller.
They didn't leave a message. Looked up the number in call notes then logged the number into
my caller  ID blocker for next time they call...They sell them on Amazon.Com and worth every penny.
our calls have dropped 85% since we got the blocker.  They will block private, unavailable ,1, or the
random 000 000 0000 type calls. All the blockers are worth the money but I got the CPR CallBlocker
that will block 1200 calls and has a instant block button on the unit.......all of them are easy to use....

Good luck with that now you will just get more calls.. Never press 1 if you no longer want these calls it does not work.

Three calls this week from "Alert". Did not answer any of the three. How much of an "Alert" could there be without a message?

Just awful. Preying on seniors. I am not even close to 65 and for them to say that my doctor has ordered this is just reprehensible. All they are doing is scamming on unsophisticated people who are going to think they are doing something their dr wants them to do. They offer a free medic alert plus 3000 free coupons. Terrible!

You might want to look into call blocking device. There are a number of models available. Do some reasearch to find the one that fits your needs.

In the meantime, you should reort the calls to the following.
