So tired of these people calling at all hours.

Would *NEVER* do business with any of them since they feel entitled to ignore Do Not Call Registry and lie about their identity on Caller ID

got call yesterday asking for me by name. Was a live call and left message on machine, but just asking for me. I guess he thought I answered, but then hung up when it was my answering machine

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Calls several times  day. Can't get it to stop.

Same here called according to caller ID from 714-236-5521 name says Elizabeth Sucre

This number 7142365521 keeps calling several times a week.  When I do pick up there is nothing on the other end.  How can I get this to stop.

If I need to unload some stress or I'm bored, and I get a call from ANY of these lowlife scumbags, I'll turn the tables by playing mind games and wasting THEIR time.  I will either be serious and ask them questions, that they possible can't answer about the subject at hand, or even questions that has nothing to do at all with what they want. Sometimes, I'll just play dumb and just irk the crap out of them, until THEY hang up. It's funnier than hell, when you give them a dose of their own! I've even left the speaker phone on, while I went to the bathroom and come back, and I've told them I had to go pee. They will have either hung up, or you can end it by saying something like: I've got to go now, Bye and hang up. I've left the speaker phone by the TV while it was on, especially a Spanish channel or kids channel, and It's hilarious to listen to them rant & rave and get madder than a hornets' nest and then hang up, and you don't have to interact or say a thing! I am finding that I'm getting fewer & fewer calls. I think they are spreading the word to their scumbag buddies NOT to call the "Crazy Man."

But, there are days that I don't feel like messing with these lowlife scumbags. What I do then, is I do a quick answer & hang-up immediately, as soon as I don't recognize the calling number, usually within 1 or 2 rings. This acts just like a call-blocker device and I have found it is usually effective on about 2/3 of the scam calls. I keep a list, and the 1/3 that do call back, I block.
