The person that called was offering Playboy magazine,plus 300 gallons of free gasoline.He said he had checked the records and I was a perferred customer even though I haven't received Playboy for more than 10 years.He started offering other magazines,and I told him I wasn't interested in the offer,which he stated that was irrelavent.I told him good buy and he said "Your an idot!" I tried to call the number on my caller ID,but received "couldn't be reached as dialed,try again." It is bad enough to get an unsolicted call at dinner time,being on the do not call list,but to have someone working for a company with an attitude like that is diplorable.I probably would have let the call slide even though unsolicited ,except for the young man's rudeness.I would appreciate knowing the outcome of this e- mail. repeated calls , my wife answers, they won't say who they are. finally got me , we talked i declined...still calling.

They called and hung up again

If this number calls you, don't answer.  If you do, tell them some choice words and then HANG UP!  This is the second call I've gotten from this company.  The first was a couple of months ago.  They call themselves "Publisher Service Office" but when pressed will not give you a phone number with which to reach their company.  They offered $300 free gas and a full 3 yrs of a magazine subscription that I already have + 2 others that I don't want if I just give them a credit card number to pay $74.70.  This is a PHISHING expedition.  They had some of my info and wanted me to confirm it.  When I pressed for a number to call back, "Shane" would not give me one.  He told me his supervisor would call back with a confirmation IF I gave him my CC number!  I asked to speak with his supervisor and he hung up on me.
