Keep getting calls from this number asking for someone I do not know.  Called me a liar and makes threats.  States that I am really who they are calling and I am lying about who I am.  I have had enough.  They call on my business cell.  I called Pacific Bell/ATT&T owns the company now.  Phone number is listed in Fullerton California (Orange County]Type Landline.  They will not do anything.  Told me to call my phone carrier and have them trace  the calls.  You can also call law enforcement to report.  I am thinking  about a trip to California.

This hearing impaired man with an accent has called my house every morning for a week, I finally got fed up and called back. They said CashAdvance was pressing charges against me for not paying off the money for a loan that they have wired into my account. He said they officers were also coming to my house to take me away and bring me to court for the final hearing. They even recited my address and the last 4 digits of my social security number! I had 0 funds added to my account and I owe nothing to anyone!!!! This is ridiculous and completely ruined my day, as a female in her early 20's it's scary to find out what CRUEL CRUEL world is out there.

Why are the people call places of employment this is considered harrasment. I called the back and asked the for the information they had regarding this claim.  The could not give me any information so I said to them please call the policie I will be at my desk here ar work waiting for them. The persons name that called me was Jennifer Macancy

It is a scam, no cops are coming and you don't owe money. At my police department we have been receiving calls from numerous citizens regarding these calls. Do not give them any information and if they are calling your work make sure you tell your boss you are the viictim of this scam and there is no way for you to get them to stop calling. Somehow these people obtained a number based out of so cal and are probably calling from another country (usually africa) using voice over I.p. on a computer. If somehow they are able to get money from you or your bank, file an identity theft of fraudulent use of access cards report at your local pd. It will probably go nowhere but you can use the case number to get reimbursed.

Just got a call from this number (two, actually).  The first call seems like it was placed prematurely because when I answered (it appears to have been made from my home area code, so I answered) all I could hear was a lot of noise and a man with a thick accent giving instructions/pep talk.  I listened in (couldn't quite understand all of it) for almost two minutes and then the line got cut.  Five minutes later I got a call from the same number and when I answered, it was a man (heavy accent) asking for me and stating that there was a complaint about to be filed in the state court against me and my SS#.  That I need to have my attorney contact them immediately or they would have the sheriff come and arrest me at my place of business.  I told them that it would be ok to do that, since the local sheriff is stationed in my building and I know the officers, it would be cool.  Then the guy hung up.  I've been receiving a number of these types of calls since I made the huge mistake of taking out a payday loan several months ago.  Honestly, if anything this guy said was true, I would have been arrested about fifty times in the past month alone if I count every time I get one of these calls.

    DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!

This has SCAM written all over it!

I live with my parents when I'm home from college, and my mom keeps getting these calls. most  the time the guy calls in the afternoon when my parents are at  work. when i tell him that she is not home he got mad at me and asks when she will be home. He has also called and when my mom goes to talk to him the line goes dead. he called three times in a row. we finally let the answering machine pick it up and he starts to yell and threatens that the police will come and that she will loose her job. he has some type of accent and he started yelling in some forign language, i think it could have been spanish, but it may have been arabic. now he has called saying he was a laywer (which he never said before) and that my mom should contact him or else the police will come and arrest her. does anyone know who this is and how to get these harrasing calls to stop. do we have to talk to the police? all i know is that it is in orange county california
