Calling and wanting a family member to accept legal papers on another family member.

Calling and stated that someone has filed a complaint, and asked if i could take a number down and call them. What  ajoke

I called the number back, and no one answers. It says thank you for calling Allied.

Ignore.  Absurd attempt to scare someone into calling them.

Beginning to wonder why I'm even paying Verizon for a landline when all I get are scam n spam... Seems like I'm paying to get spammed.

Anyway, Just received one of these calls - dead air - usually this means a robo-call that waits until someone picks up and then attempts to connect the call to your new spammer/scammer - Someone finally picked up on their end and asked for my wifes ex (been divorced for 15 years now!!!) that obviously does not live here - when asked by me "What is this regarding?" the scammer decided to be funny and responded with a smart little quip "Deez nuts!" and then promptly hung up before the ensuing laughter did not errupt,

Just got a call on my cell phone (of all things) asking if i can receive legal papers for .."<my full name>" , i said "what is this regarding sir?" and "OK so you do not know this person, fine" then they hung up.

I tried calling back twice - "thank you for calling Allied.."
"the users mailbox is full and cannot accept any more messages"

It may be some scam attempt to verify phone numbers.Luckily i got the call when i was not too busy. That is Just what i need to hear in my (auto-answering) Helmet while i'm cruising the highway on my motorcycle.

Called and asked to speak to me by name.  I said, "this is him".  Then they hung up.

Same as others.  Got a call asking to speak with a person that I have not been involved with in over 20 years.  Said it was an urgent matter.  I said what is this in regard to, they were non responsive. I assumed it was a collection agency.  I said, "I have not contact with that person, but..." then they cut me off mid sentence and said "Ok, so you have no contact with this person, please disregard this call, thank you" click.. ,hung up on me.  Rude ... I called back and got a robo voice mail that said "allied" and the mail box was full.  Whatever...

call never leaves a message and when I call back no answer

Received a call today, quick fast, recorded.   Looking to send legal documents.  They answered but very nasty, wouldn't give any information.

I received a voicemail too....asking for me to call back regarding legal documents from their client.

They keep calling saying they have a summons for me, but never say my name out why I'm being summoned.

It's a scam!!

Called and asked for my attorney to call them re: papers to be served.  I called them back, person answered with "how may i direct your call", and I told them to take me off their calling list.  He replied with one moment while I look up your number, a few moments later, he stated that my number was removed.  We will see if it actually is.   I'm not sure who this company is or what type of scam this is.

Real process servers do not warn you in advance.  Very suspicious - answering the phone without giving the company name!!

Received a call about papers being served  or at place of work, and to have an attorney look at them. I called number back and it was a busy tone. Decided something is fishy and looked this number up. Guess I was right.
