I called back and it is a design store in Anaheim Hills. They were cold-calling people. :-(

Caller ID reads DBSFV. Caller asked for me by name. When I asked who was calling he said, "Ed". Is this (my name)?" I said I didn't know "Ed". He then said he was "Ed" from "Direct Buy Orange County". Pushy sales pitch, kept talking over me trying to politely say "no" (my way of coming across as a pushover to see how much information have, how much they'll spill and how far they'll go with the scam), and going on about the benefits of Direct Buy. Finally, I interrupted him and said firmly, "Ed! I'm not..." That's all I got out before he said, as fast as possible, "I'll call back after you've decided to do business with us" and hung up on me. Power/ego issues much, "Ed"?

Received two calls. Each time caller (male) asked for me by my first name. In both cases the caller sid not enunciate well and I asked "Who are you trying to reach?" The caller then rang off. CallerId showed DBSFV.

Have no idea who this is . The caller ID reads "Yorba Linda CA". They've been calling every day between 4pm and 9pm, every 20-30 minutes. Rings three times and then hangs up. Never leaves a message. Exceedingly annoying. If it really is Direct Buy (as others have said), there is no point in engaging the caller in any way. They just keep calling, no matter what you say to them. Terrible operation.
