We missed a call from this number on one of our business lines. The call showed up as out of area. When we called the number back we were played a recording of people making monkey noises.

I too have received several calls from this number.  Thank goodness for caller id.  It comes up unknown name with the number displayed, so I refuse to answer.  Last night a lady said "HELLO" on my answering machine, but then hung up.  What happened to the "National Do Not Call Registry"?  I've registered my number several times, but still get calls like this one.

After looking the number up on internet, and reading these posts, I couldn't resist!  I just had to call.
Yes, I got the monkey.

But there is one other strange thing about the call on the caller ID.   I got a series of numbers before the number  7750200: 7147063 1-714-706-3200, this is just how it came thru on the caller ID.  the 1st set of numbers looks like part of a zip code?

I too have received several calls from this number. The call showed up as Brea, CA. When I called the number back I was also played a recording of people making monkey noises.

This company does surveys, so they can ignore the DO NOT CALL Registry.  I did find out who they are though. Below is their website info.  I am trying to file a complain over them number spoofing. Anyone who wants to waste some of Hamon's time and annoy them back here's their real phone number 714-280-0333  I hope I helped :)

I have recieved several calls from this number.  I too was interested in who was calling so I called the number back and yep...I got the monkey noises.  I have been just ignoring the calls when I see the number come up on my caller id.

These fools have a series of numbers as the "caller name" displayed on my screen.
It is exacty like I typed it, with a colon in the middle.
Note that the last 7 digits are part of the phone number.

We've been receiving a call from this number for the past 2 weeks.  I answered today and a woman, with a strong Spanish-type accent said she was calling from ING Direct.  The number on call display shows up as "California".  She wouldn't give me any further information other than she was calling from customer service of ING Direct and repeated often "thees is no sales call".  I've reported it to ING Direct.

nothing on other end when picked-up phone. When I said Hello, the pitch of the static on the other side went up a little bit. Looks like a telemarketer looking for fresh telephone numbers to call. I added it to my telephone caller ID as "spam" so that next time they call, I could ignore them when caller ID says "spam"

I answered the phone and was connected to a gentleman that asked if I had a few moments to answer a survey from ING DIRECT and that I should get a pen and paper ready. I asked why I needed paper and pen to answer a survey? he said that I would be asked to write down some things at one point in the survey. So..I told him that I would be prepared to proceed but made it known that I would not have any paper with with which to write anything down as I was out in the yard working.(I only said I would proceed to see where the line of questioning went--I was prepared to cut it off anytime) He asked if it would be better to call back another time. My call display now shows that this number has called back 7 additional times.
Today I emailed ING DIRECT to ask if they are actively having a survey conducted. When they respond I will ask ING to put a "do not telemarket" flag on my number.
When will companies "get it"? People do not like to be hounded by telemarketers
