Called today and all that was left on the answering machine was a noisy call center.

Called my home phone and asked to speak to my mother (who doesn't live with me). I usually take calls for her since she is hard of hearing and does not hear well on the phone. Asked who was calling like I normally do, and the lady on the other end hesitated before telling me she would just call back later. I'm not sure who this is or what they need.

Asked to speak to "the spouse". CID of Anaheim CA. Would not say where they were calling from. Blocked

Called and I let the machine pick up.  Asked for me by name and then hung up leaving no message other than "Hello, Deb".  when I called the number back a recording said it was not in service.

I got the same thing as Deb.  I was out & the machine got the call,  The message was someone saying hello, hello, Linda?  When I called the number back a recording said it was not in service.

This was the most outrageous call yet.  Asked for me or husband and then proceeded to say she was with Right to Life and how they wanted to prevent abortions blah blah blah.  I had some unkind words for her before the hang up

Got 2 calls, one on Saturday, at 1:58pm and one today, 9:54am, Dec. 23rd, 2014. No message left but reading the comments here, it sounds like one of those unwanted calls.

Got call both yesterday and today, missed it both times. When I called back, I reached a recording stating "The number or code you have dialed is incorrect."

Strange...

Called cell at 5:50 sat pm 12/27. Recorded voice said sorry their agents were busy could not take call I could hang on for one!

been asking for connie for years, will NOT stop calling me, constantly harassing me in the middle of night...evil [***], will not take me off their damn list

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Was out of state about a month.  Got home to several calls on the recorder.  All from a woman asking for me by name.  No message was left.  714 area code is from California.

Received a call from 714-782-0433 was bot home so the answering machine picked up a woman's voice asking for me by
name twice and hung up. I don't know anyone in California for them to call me.

My post was intended for informational purposes only.  I have no desire to debate political, religious or social issues with anyone online or by phone.  There are plenty of other forums for these topics.

They have called here 3X so far today and hang up with no message... I don't answer unknown numbers anymore. If the number isn't a vital number when you call back as others here have stated this is a spoof call, probably requesting donations to save those babies  Don't be fooled.

Call was from "Anaheim, CA………..did not answer and they left no message.  Put on my call block list.
