Caller ID on my phone said "Brea, CA". I use google voice for voicemail and it immediately sent this call to my spam folder.

I rec'd a call from this number today, didn't recognize it so let it go to vm. No vm, called it back and it said for me to enter extension number.  SPAM

Google Scam sounds like a drug addict wanted to speak to owners about a website.
I am not a business owner, never heard of the business he thought he was talking to and I never had a website.

Definitely a scam.  DON'T ANSWER AND BLOCK THE NUMBER.

Got the call on my mobile today. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

I called the number, thinking it was someone I was trying to reach. If you can program your phone to ignore this number, do that.

Called and left automated message, in a British accent..... press 1 and you will be connected with a technician...blah blah blah....press 2 to be taken off our list....and then hung up....no identification of what company it was

After recorded message about this call being important to my Google Business account, a caller who identified himself as Zack, asked about my phone number being connected to Google Business account. I don't have a business account. When I told him that, it seems he hung up (call duration was one minute and one second).

I also get a call about once a day mostly from this number.  I called this number back and found out extension 1001 is a guy named Nick that answered " Thanks for holding, are you the current business owner?"  I then slammed the phone down hanging up.  Maybe next time I should tell him to remove me.  Let's see if they call again....

Just got this call as well. I've tried ignoring the calls, but they keep coming. I've "2" to be removed from the list - no luck. I've also stayed on hold to speak to a 'live Google specialist.' When I asked to be removed from the list, he hung up on me. I HATE when they call when I'm on the phone with a customer!!!!!

They have been calling every day and I never answer.  Scam, Scam, Scam....  So tired of these calls every day.  Ugh!!!!!

How much did this guy have to drink today.

Slurred his words and tried to sell me a Google maps account.

Not a real vendor. Just spam caller.

It is a marketing company (Scout50) who tries to make you think they are with Google and need to update your business search optimization and pay a one time$300 fee. They are not with Google and it seems like they are just submitting suggestions to Google and asking for the $300 fee. I believe anyone can submit suggestions to Google for free, so save your $300.
