The famous credit card scam, called my cell phone which never get these kinds of calls. Hard to believe I am the first posting for this number

Thanks.  Just got a call and blocked it.

Just got a call too...missed the call.  Now I know to block it.

I just got a call from this number that read on caller ID as "U.S. POST OFFIC". No message. There is no such agency, it is the U.S. Postal Service.

I received a call from this number, the caller ID showed U.S. Post Office, but they did not leave a message.

    Got a call from them on Saturday morning.  The number was identified as the US Post Office.  They did not leave a message.
    It would seem someone either reacted before looking or just doesn't have caller ID before they posted a complaint.  What is the first person reporting this message actually speaking with the caller of this number or are the simply guessing.

   It does seem possible it really could be the USPS calling to simply say they have a package to pick up or some other postal-related activity, other than someone going postal, which would be really bad.

 I wonder if someone can claim to be a govt. agency without fear of reprisal or if the owner's of the posted number are really for the USPS...

714 is a California area code. I'm not expecting any packages from California and the California post office wouldn't be calling me here in NY to pick up a package

is definitely a scam ... caller id said USPS Garden Gro... not "United States Postal Service"
answered and recorded woman's voice starts talking about credit card account etc... didn't listen to the whole thing

yeah i got a call saying it was from the orange county area but i dont know anyone that kives in OC so i didnt answer. thanks fir the help!

Received a call on my cell phone from 714 894 5884, began with "There is no problem with your credit card but we can lower your rates". Listed as anonymous caller.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

What annoys me is that I just added my cell number to the no call list with the ftc, last week!

call. no message. huh? surprise? wow...hope it was the us post office.  been dying to talk to them all my life and now they are finally calling me.  i can't wait for them to call back.  woohoo!!!

Didn't answer unknown number, taking everyone's advice on here.   Phone rang at 8 am Saturday morning on the nose.

That's funny they called us all around 2 hours ago. Thanks for the advice, I'll know what to do if the call again.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Those idiots called me at 7:00 this morning...refused to answer, now they are blocked!!!
