Another out of my area code do not answer then with my new smart phone from Verizon I can put on reject list. So far so good it has worked. I do get new numbers and just keep putting on reject list.  On my home phone, yes I still have one, it rings once goes to answer machine which says if you don't tell me who you are I don't answer leave message I might call you back.  Usually just hang ups, suppose I should get rid of it but keep for the 911 notification, they know where I live if I can't talk.  Cells aren't as reliable for this.  Have a great scammer less day.

Hello seniors... First of all I'm not even a senior, Lol. Try to talk to them and they just hang up on you. Really frustrating!

A call from Wisconsin-Chippewa Falls. Answered by mistake as I have family in Wisconsin. Pressed on through and asked "Why are you calling from my brother's number?" Silence. Asked when my Leinenkugel  and squeaky cheese was coming. Silence. Said, "I know this is a scam." Silence and then a click. Won't stop them but it was a different annoyance for them. And I'm not a senior...yet. Give me time, I be there soon enough.

715-275-8685 - scammers.  The Do No Call registry is useless.  Blowing a loud whistle into the phone is useless with robocalls. Verizon Wireless limits the number of telephone numbers that can be blocked, and the spam calls now reaching my cell phone are approaching numbering in the hundreds. They're worse than weeds - block one, and it's rapidly replaced by another.

As most of these calls are automated, the sending computer relies on hearing a voice at the receiving end when the 'phone is answered. With an incoming number I do not recognise, I will answer the call and say nothing. If there is truly a person there, after a moment or two one will usually hear them saying (sometimes in a confused manner!) "Hello? Hello?", or the worst that will happen if it's a legitimate call is they will hang up and call back thinking that there is a connection problem. If it's a computer-generated call, then after about 10 seconds, it will hang up (once in a while, I will get delicious satisfaction from a computer that doesn't hang up for a few minutes! I love tying up their lines!!).

With my cell phone through AT&T, I have a "reject call" option. Once the spam call has hung up, I then simply add the number to the rejected list.

I'm getting so sick of these "Hello senior your eligible for a medical alert bla bla bla" calls called me at least 3-4 times while I was even out of the country and after asking them not to call me back anytime I attempt to reach a human the call ends so I cannot contact them and ask to not call me again.  I have at least 30 numbers for this call.  So [***] annoying
