This person text me and others from craigslist ads.  Asks for personal information from you.  May be legit but I am being cautious.

wanted A pickup i had put on craigslist e sent a  Certified Cashier's Check but my bank said it would take 3 weeks to cash they wanted o hold on to it he got mad that they would not let me pull money out but the check never cleared the guy said it was from WI the check came from SC was From TX and wanted me send the money to jody kisner 3254 William st cape giradeau missouri 63701 but the check never cleared the bank and was pulled in 48 hrs after going in hes a scammer

Just received a message on a Craigslist post in NJ from a WI number (cell phone).  davidpatrick19866 (at) gmail (dot) com.  Going to pass on this inquiry because of previous posts.

Runs a scam on craiglist. Says they are out of town or moving and asks if a cert check is ok then asks for personal info then says when check clears the movers will pick it up from you. Big scam

STAY AWAY! My poor little old mother (Nashville, TN) was trying to sell a table for $300, this guy sent her a check for $2000!  He's texting her 20 times a day asking her to cash the check.  She got suspicious and asked me to check into it.

The address of the check list: Interdent Corp, 2708 23rd Ave, Astoria NY 11105.  So I looked up the address and called them. Interdent Corp does not exist.  The guy on the other line sounded extremely shady with a heavy thick foreign accent.  This is clearly fraud and stay away!
