Calls asking for someone else

unknown phone numbers keep call me.

Received a call from this number asking for a Stacey (my last name). Informed the caller I never heard of this person!!

Asking for a person I don't know. ASG 716-564-4905 is another number of theirs. Collection agency harrassing me for someone they can't find that supposedly gave them my phone number as a contact. http://www.accountsolutionsgroup.com/

This number 716-213-4578 keeps calling different family members of mine asking for me except they have the wrong first name.  They a similiar but different version of the name everytime.  This is a scam; they are trying to get your personal information so don't fall for it.  It is a company called "First Source" and they say they have a file on you.  Report them if you get a call from them.

I called back after hitting *67.  An american man answered and said
"First Source".  I googled First Source and found a mortgage Company.
I figure it is that Double billing Sprint trying to collect.
They turned me over to some lawyer firm to collect $125 on a $77 bill.
In the meantime Sprint PCS STILL continues to bill.
I talked to the Layer Firm and told them to get with Sprint and send something to me in black and white.  I am not paying TWO companies.
Ha HA HA

Asks for person who does not live here. They won't take wrong number for an answer an have been calling like clockwork every morning at 8:16 am. This has been going on for a week an I don't know how to stop it.

Don't know how to stop it, Tonka?  You've got their phone number, if they're calling for someone that d/n live there you file complaints with:

BBB
FTC
AG (both your state and their state)
consumer affairs

You can also send them a "Drop Dead" letter VIA Certified Mail. Be sure to request a receipt and keep copies of everything.

If these morons continue calling after you have written proof they received it, they can face fines of up to $1,000.00 PER VIOLATION.

Lastly, I would like to receive confirmation in writing that you have received this letter and will no longer be contacting me about this other person's debt, or I will be forced to seek further legal action.

I look forward to your acknowledgement that you have received this notice by [date that is two weeks from date of letter].

called for relative who doesn't live with us , and said it  was a personal business matter and important to get in touch with them and our number was a contact number?  I asked for his name (Oliver Jones--with a slight Indian accent) and company was First Source.

Another number is 716-213-4578.  They called searching for a roomer that doesn't live here anymore.  Is there a way I can stop these people from harrassing me?

Firstsource Advantage, LLC.  They are a collection company.  Not too bad actually.  Was able to get a settlement offer extended two weeks for me to be able to come up with the money.

Ms.(my name, which they cannot pronouce correctly) this is not a sales call, however something has been giving to me about a very inportant matter. please call me back Immediately.

Ive been getting a bunch of calls from them recently. I called them back from my work phone so whoever it was couldn't see my number and when they answered the lady said First Source, but I couldn't hear her so I asked her to repeat it and I was like I must have the wrong number. She was like did you get a missed call from our number, were trying to reach a Sandra at this number. I'm guessing anyone that calls them back they assume they've called them before. #1 my name is Alison not Sandra, and number two I moved from NJ to CA a year ago and my cell phone number is still a Jersey number, and I called them back from a Cali number. I said several times that I dialed the wrong number and she was like no you didn't we called this number looking for Sandra. Its an office phone at my work, so no they hadn't called here lol. I really hate these stupid scams

left a message looking for a gloria same last name, so i called them back.  first source she says, i tell them my name (cause i don't owe anyone any money that isn't current) and i tell them to stop calling, as no gloria lives here.  they said thanks, i'll see if it works

Calls everyday - will not give out info - will hang up if they do not get that person on phone - my mission will be to report every call to help you identify your calls.

They are calling regarding a chare off Bank of America account, not a very pro company, they left a message on my voice mail that sounds like a violationg of the Fair Dept Collection act. I called the rep a A%%^ and told him to go F**^% off.

Hello, there is a way to stop those company by using website called: WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV and by local and federal law now that you can complaint direct to your state of attorney. Wish you luck.
