Who are these ppl???

I was contacted by a Jason Sobieski who tried to collect an outstanding debt I had accumulated almost ten years ago! It was way past the statute of limitations and he said there was a lawsuit pending. He tried to get me to "settle" on a debt  that he claimed had ballooned all the way to 14 grand! It was all lies! What these people are doing is illegal according to the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act! No one can threaten you with a lawsuit unless they sincerely intend on filing one and can legally do it. They misrepresented both the amount and the legal status of the debt which are both illegal. If they call, ignore them. And do NOT let them con you into paying a penny on an old debt. You can re-age it and be liable for it again.

The number is based in the Buffalo, NY metro but that is all I know. If anyone has an address or any additional information that would make filing a complaint against these guys please share.

I keep getting the same phone calls...came up with an address from the phone number and traced it through the Longitude n latitude....2-40 4th St, Angola, NY 14006, USA someone needs to file against them...

Jason Sobieski claims to be an attorney with Legacy Management.  Is this guy for real?  He has threatened to file a lawsuit and take my home.  I have advised him that my husband is an alzheimers patient and that I was not even on this account.  How does that make me liable?

It doesn't. Get a consumer law attorney and go after them for making illegal threats.

Do not pay him, do not hire him to "help" you settle your Debts.  It is all lies...
