- Ted| 1 replyReceived a call from 'Officer Jason Miller' who claimed to be an agent of the IRS. I didn't answer and a message was left demanding a call back to 716-261-2184, blah, blah. The IRS doesn't make calls of this type, and an online search confirmed this as a scam.
- Caller: "IRS"
- Call type: Debt collector
- SandiGot a phone call from this number Officer Jason Miller said he was with the IRS it was for tax fraud and in 15 minutes I would have no access to my bank account and in 45 min they woud be knocking on my door to arrest me.

- K. SalterJust received 2 calls from Officer Jason Miller who stated "don't try to disregard this message. If you do not return my call, then the only thing I can do is to wish you good luck as the situation badly unfolds on you." This sounds not only threatening, but predatory. I have no past due bills, nothing out of the ordinary. I worry about the elder population who can be scared into believing this jerks. What can be done to stop this scam???

- Mrs JThis number called and showed on my caller ID as Unknown and left a threatening message and Identified himself as Officer Jason Miller from the IRS - Internal Revenue Service. Left a voice mail to call him right away. Had a very strong foreign accent. When returning the call he was not there but another person answered with a very strong accent and was difficult to understand.
- Caller: Claimed to be the IRS
- MaryannI also received a call with the 'IRS officer' leaving a message telling someone to call him back at this number. He never used our name or gave any indication that he knew who he was calling. He said to call back immediately and then started making threats about what would happen if someone didn't call right back. Hopefully, these people are stopped and arrested before too many people fall victim to this.

- jeff replies to TedYes but for those who got them on the line - didn't you find it interesting how much information they had about you?
- AMMy poor elderly mother was concerned about a threatening message that was left on her answering machine and asked me to listen to it since English is not her first language. The "officer" had a thick accent and sounded as if he was calling from a busy call center so I assumed the call was fake. Glad to see that it has been confirmed on this site that it is a fake.
