It's Geico calling from their claims department. Called me several times to verify some info.

Geico calling to ask me to return some forms that I forgot to sign.

Just received a call from the 716 GEICO number. They hung up on me. I tried returning the call and the recorded message indicated that "this number does not exist". Very strange, since we just placed a clain with GEICO about 5 days ago.

From previous entries I assume Geico called me.  They too hung up just as I answered.

Nick from Gieco Auto Clams call indicating that it was URGENT that I call them back. I don't even have Gieco.. I don't even own a car!!! I smell a scam! Oh, and they even called at 11:40 PM on a Saturday evening.

PS... THE the telephone number was 716-267-4000.

GEICO called to ask if we had mailed back forms that they sent out a week previous. They asked for no PII, and when we asked for information about our account, they gave us a customer service number to call about it. This seemed like a legit call. CallerID identified as WINDSTREAM NEW.

Definitely legit.  Geico called reminding me to return the semi-annual questionnaire.

Legit Call.  I placed a claim online and got a phone call about an hour later.

called me to verify my information and tried to call them back on the same number got "temporary disconnected" message

It is GEICO. My wife called for an unrelated issue and they asked her about the umbrella policy so she gave my number and than i got the call. they don't want to leave voice mail, in my opinion, because they want to ask some questions.
Anyway, I usually don't answer unless i recognize the number but I did because i thought, after looking at this website, that it was GEICO and i thought it was something important. Umbrella policy may be important like any insurance. It is up to you if you want to be bother or not.

filed a claim online and got a phone call from this # 716-267-4000 within thirty minutes or less...didn't answer (haha) like everyone else said...because I had no idea who it was. Caller ID said ALLTELL NEWYORK.

Same thing here, saw the number ont he caller id, called it back and it said it is not in service.  Must be Geico seeing that I just placed a call to them earlier in the same day.

The same number just called me and said they need to verify my wives license! When I explained that my wife is an Immigrant and has only a European license they hung up! What strange is! I added my wife to my policy last week with Geico and they knew this!

LOL geico is so funny!!! I was sitting in a diner eating. They asked for my name and asked me who was speaking in the background. Heh then they hung up on me. When I called back the answering machine said this number is not in service. I'm about to switch!

Got call from same number claiming to be geico and asked what mine and my wifes age were and hung up. Got same message when I tried to call number back that it was no longer in service

Caller ID said ALLTELL NEWYORK.716-267-4000 She asked for my husband, then just hung up.... so i called back as everyone else did and Not In service... but just called me ? so how can it not be? so here I am.

Keeps calling. Just a beep sound. Very suspicious.
