Just received a call from this number tonight. This is the 4th company to try and collect on the same debt which has been paid since October 2006. Forwarding Properties has listed this debt on my credit report but has never contacted me.
I was not polite as on October 20, 2008 I had to fax to Eastern Asset Management proof that it is paid. Before that I had to fax to National Recovery Group on August 21, 2008.
I told them I am not sending proof because I just did 2 weeks ago to Eastern and that they could contact them and the person said she would send this debt to their legal department and sue me for commiting fraud.

They are calling my number too.  They have my name.  I told "whomever" to NOT call my number again and blocked the phone number.

They are calling me from (716) 282-3354.  Left a message for my husband (saved it and will keep saving it) stating that they are calling about a "law suit" initiated in our county.  Give a "so called" case number.  I know that what this lady left on my answering service is criminal and the fact that they also called my sister (how they got her number with a dif last name) and stated the same on her answering machine.  I am debating on whether to contact my state attorney consumers alert about this strong arming, lying company
