They called four times back to back, no one said anything each time.

An individual calling from 716-312-4001 called my cell phone today, and left a threatening message for legal action. I have no clue as to who this is, and what it is in regard to.

Received a call, made payment arrangements but I asked for the name of the company and I want an email sent to confirm the payment arrangement.  Then I am going to call the company in which the money came from to confirm that they have this outsource legal company taking care of my account.  I'm not giving anyone any money until I have confirmed all the details.  If you know what the money is for.  Call the original company and verifty that they have sold your account to these people.

Just received the same call from the same number. He stated he recieved a fax and that I was gonna be served on Friday morning for 2 charges 1. something about dateline fraud 2. Commiting fraud on a financial institution. At first I was a little worried, then I started researching and came up on this site. I don't know if this is some guy trying to commit fraud himself but usually they call and say they are a debt collection agency, this guy just said his name and no company.

I got a phone call from this number and I talked to an individual who stated I had pending charges. I read this page and disreguarded as a scam. I was served on Friday with a summons for court. I called the number back to try to make arrangements, they told me I can not make any arrangements now that I have been served I have to go to court on Thursday this week. It was for a loan I took out when I lost my job and I had a stop payment on a check to the company since the money wasnt going to be there. The guy I talked to told me that he was willing to work with me, which the loan amount I took out was 250.00, these papers I have say they are sueing me for 1400.00, this is rediculous. I found a new job and would of been more than willing to pay the 250.00 but again i thought it was a scam, does anyone know what I can do at this point?

I received a phone call from this # stating legal action to be taken. My name is Not the person they are looking for, not sure how he got my #. I left a msg in regards to this and am hoping for a response.

I just received a call that was restricted. It was a lady by the name of Debra Miller stating she was calling in regards to my bank account with Wells Fargo. Funny thing is I don't have an account with Wells Fargo and the name she gave was not my govt name but my nickname. Of course I immediately knew it was a scam. Don't call these ppl back or send them money.

I too received a call from a Debra Miller stating she was from JP morgan Chase and was calling in regards to a transaction by a William Dixon.( Don't know a William Dixon and never have) They left this number to call 716-312-4004.  She was very rude and obviously a scam.

A friend of mine has been receiving telephone calls,at his work, from "Debra Miller" at 716-312-4001 who says that she is an intermediary for an Internet Loan Company.  She says her company, which is located in New York State, is not a Collection Agency and therefore doesn't have to comply with the Fair Debt Practices Collections Act.  She wouldn't provide the address of her company and said that payments should be transmitted to a company in Ohio via a debit card.
Obviously Ms. Miller and her "company" are committing fraud.  The question is whether or not the NY Attorney General is willing or able to do anything about it.

The people at 716-312-4001 are committing "wire fraud" on a massive basis and the US Attorney for that region in New York State should be after them. However, even though their area code is for upper New York State they are probably calling from outside the US.  They are very secretive about where they are actually located. They are attempting to extort money from thousands of people. They are having money sent by debit card to a company known as Cooper Financial, LLC which is located in Cincinnati.  This company is aiding and abetting" extortion attempts.

You ppl are so stupid. Of course to you it is a scam because you don't want to pay your bill SMH. You ppl need to get a life!!!!

I don't think the poor shill can afford a caps-lock key!  He lost it on the grimy boiler room floor along with his honesty and ethics.

I sometimes wonder if shills type in caps because they think it will make them more believable?

please report any complaints of threats or violations of the FDCPA by this company to the NYS Attorney General's office by calling 716-853-8404.  Any New York residents being pursued over a payday loan are advised NOT TO PAY, as payday loans are illegal in NYS and therefore unenforceable. Many other states have made them illegal as well, check with your Attorney General for information.  please save all recordings where possible.

i talked to miss miller and she really helped me out .i had a payday loan that i got behind on and she helped me do a settlment at 50 percent .i even got my paid in full letter within a week

Please tell Miss Miller that she is a scammer and a fraud!
