I received the same call fro the IRS - bad accent!!

I just received the call and he mention that he is a officer with the IRS.

Call from male with foreign accent saying he was an officer from irs, number from new York.

I got a phone call in my voicemail couldn't under stand it at all, but it said it was an Officer (Erick Foster 716 342-1109) from the internal revenue service, also left message for me. "If you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either, then the only thing I can do for you is wish you a good luck as the situation badly falls on you."
i called back This guys accent is from India Lol he asked for my info and I told him we'll since you are from the IRS and your trying to collect a debt you should have it right!!! He hung up. Is a SCAM!!!!! Becareful don't give any personal info to anyone at all.

Just received a message from this number. It's a scam. The message says that the guy needs to speak to me or my attorney if not, all he could do is wish me "good luck". I have had this same idiots call me like 2 years ago. Always an "Indian" speaking man or woman and always with the "wish you good luck" line. I reported it back then with the Florida district attorney’s office. Major SCAM.

Just received a second call almost 2 hours later. Same person stating he is Officer Erick Foster (although he took a second before he said his name. Probably looking at his notes on what to say.) As per the district attorney’s office, if this was a REAL legal matter, you would NEVER be contacted by phone.

Same number called me a minute ago.  Exact same message.  There is no way that could be legit.

This is a scam, IRS never contact you by phone.

I received a call from a client stating that same number called him.. I called and the "agent" and he said that they did not have my number on file....it is bs!!!   Try calling the real IRS and pack a lunch. You are not getting through to an actual person for 30 min.  PLEASE report the number to local authorities and on the iRS.gov website.

I received the exact same message about this 'agent' from the IRS.  Pretty much verbatim as is previously posted.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Scam IRS call

Same message - I called them back and the guy in the phone threatened to harm me physically and rape my wife...I asked for the name of his company and he put the phone down....

I got the same message three times.  The idiot had a super thick accent.  It is clearly a SCAM.  I tried to text them back "Go [***] yourself" but the message was returned.

I keep getting the exact same voicemail as this but the number is 703-634-0289
