I got a call  from this number and was told that I feeled out an application for a grant. I have never and told them to take me off there call list.

the been calling me for months! their not in this country either, cause they don't speak english or spanish! i finally got them to stop now their BACK!

I have had two  phone calls but I was reluctant to answer. I'm glad I didn't knowing its a scam

Got a call from this number and she asked me whether i was interested in solar panel..i said no thanks..

These people told me they were from my internet provider and wanted me to erase my address bar...I told them that I was not sure who they were and I was not giving them access to my system and they hung up...Definitely a scam look out everybody..............

Good for you that you didn't fall for the scam! The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

Received a phone call from this number, and the person told me they were with AT&T, who is my internet provider. The person told me that AT&T had detected a problem with my security, and that I needed to download my system to their Tech Support department so they could repair the system.

I told this person that I had a very good third party security program installed, and that I did not need to connect my computer to their system of any type of maintenance. They persisted, saying that I was not protected from hackers, and AT&T Tech Support could correct the problem.

I told them that if they gave me a phone number that I could call back, and if I called it back and AT&T answered, I would talk to them. Then the guy game me a different phone number than the one he had called from, I guess not knowing that today we know what number just called us.

Note: The number he called from was 719-372-8969 the number he gave me was 1-888-259-0531. If you google either of these numbers, you will get several similar numbers, and some Chinese characters.

Don’t know for sure what is going on here, but I don’t intend to become a part of it.

Just got a call too, so they are still at it.

Total scam.  Told me that someone has access to my computer.  They wanted me to give them information to connect with my computer, (so they could access files, I'm sure).  Beware.  M-

don't know who is company  is but  looking for some one named sandy there  is no sandy here!!!!!!

Same thing just happened to me - a heavy-middle-east accented guy called telling me I needed to give him immediate access to my computer so he could protect my computer from hackers that were currently 'using my computer to do bad things.' I asked to talk to a supervisor.  The supervisor told me the same thing (nearly verbatim).  "Donna, we can see that someone is hacking into your computer right now and bad things are happening but I can help you Donna."  "Open Internet Explorer so we can protect you.'  RIGHT! Don't think so.

I received a call today stating he was calling for Microsoft regarding my computer.  I told him do not call me again.  I have received calls before from this number from different men who have an India accent.  I told them not to call me again, for what good that will do.  I gave them no information.

I got a missed call on my cell phone from 716-372-8969...thanks guys for sharing the information...

I get several phone calls every night .  This just makes you appreciate the right people inside of the  ring of fire.

Received second call today in last two days from 716-372-8969, heavily accented male individual trying to tell me my computer network was at risk, told him to quit bothering me as there we nothing wrong with my computer network and hung up.

Received a call from this #(716) 372-8969 said my computer was at risk and that it was hacked and i needed to let them access my computer.Don't have one. Once I told that heavily accent Indian that I know your trying to scam me and to go f^@|< off he hung up on me :(

# shows as New York.  They've called me twice in the last few days, once before 6am and once before 9am PST.  The first time a recording said they have been trying to get a hold of me.  I hung up.  The second time, nothing could be heard on their end, so I hung up again.  Very annoying!
