I have been getting call after call I answer tell them to remove my number or I'm gonna sue then I go ahead and block the number and they won't stop calling. I had a collection company that my parents work at look into it and they said it's a scam and don't give them any information, it's hesserment and it needs to stop!

I just got a voicemail  from this number 716-382-7541 saying she's an investigator and I was about too be brought up on charges.  She didn't even have my name right.

I had a phone call from this woman Ashley Noel claims she's an investigator for LA County. And  I have charges against me for failure to pay back a loan. I almost fell for it gave her my payment information. Thank God I didn't get paid that day. She keeps calling and now she's calling my family how did she get these numbers. There was also a second number she called me from. When I did a reverse phone number look up it was from a cell phone.

i got my wages garnished today by this company in court, not fair, i wanted a payment plan but they said it was to late.

BULL  KRAP!!!  You a just another pathetic SHILL for the Buffalo Bully type debt collector.
PROVE ME WRONG--- post the official name & physical address (not a PO Box)of the plaintiff  as well as the court where this trial was held.  What percentage did they garnish?

This Ashley Noel claims she works for Cornerstone Recovery.  She's a total scam artist.  Ignore her calls and block them.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  DIME  until the debt is validated.

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them ..

I did owe for QC Holdings, I took a advance of my pay check in 2014, all you have to do is ask them for address I did, and honestly I took the loan out, if I owe I will pay, I got fees taken off from this company and I was satified. I dont understand why people lie about taking theses loans out when its a store and your on camera its not a online scam. I owed 250 and payed Quick cash 100.

CWG40 i have this same company calling me on a past loan as well. They called me from 844-621-8275 number.  Telling me i was going to be summons for bad check and breech of contract.  I had a local lawyer tell me that they are not licensed in my state.  I asked for verification of debt and they sent via email a letter saying i have 30 days to respond or they would comsider the debt valid.  I already told them to send me a validation of debt proof like contract loan doc with name.  That letter is all they sent.  Website is cornerstonerecoveryllc.com.  is this same pkace you mentioned above?

The mention of a bad check seems to be common with scammers. Especially when they have no proof.

William-  i did post on the number they called me.  Hoping this will pass over with no incident. Would not look forward to court and costs.  Will see what happens with case i filed at consumer fiance.gov.

Robert Clinton called my Mom's Cell Phone # to leave me a message: "We found a loophole in the law and the funds are ready to be released."
How he connected the two of us remains a mystery but I've got no active court cases going on.

Did not identify the company. Stated that they are legal processors. They are actually Cornerstone Recovery LLC based out of NY. Im in the state of Florida and they are not licensed in this state to collect on debts. I however disputed the debt in question (payday loan online) and they refuse to send me VOD only email settlement offers. They divulged personal information about me to a voicemail where it is not identifiable who I am. They are calling family members and leaving messages of harrassment and threat of serving. Got called again today and that I should expect to have someone at my place of employment to serve me with papers. Identifying a case number. At no point did they disclose the nature of the call, the miranda warning. They are violating FDCPA regulation and they should be prosecuted.

2 calls from this #, looking for estranged family member. A rather threatening voice mail left the 1st time. For some reason my call blocking can't block this #

The next time they call, inform them they are being recorded and you intend to have them prosecuted for harassing a non-debtor if the calls do not stop.

A guy called my sister stating he was locating agent for my county I nedded to be home between 1-4 tomorrow. When he called my sister said he called from 716 382 7541 same number they said to have me call so I called it. Got Robert Clinton said they could clear one debt but I have awl payday loan they could set up a payment plan so stupid me gave in but haha its a prepaid card with no money on it. Because I called my local attorney told her she said sounds like a scam too. I did take awl loan out, but she said they would serve papers first I haven't received any letters or been served yet and the more u read on here I'm certain its a scam. My lawyer also said u can't be arrested for this either, so don't give them a dime! I'm sick of these low life's.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
