A man who identified himself as Michael Ben David. This number was given as the callback number from someone who had been identified as the supervisor of a man at 416-360-4084. They are engaged in a telephone procedure in the Toronto area that consists in informing you have won one of five prizes (Plasma TV, $1000 in cash, or one of three vacations) and that you should go to an address in Woodbridge to claim your prize. They use your name and address information to claim that you have filled out a "ballot" which entitles you to a prize. The address is given as  TVS, The Vacation Store, Building 216 (second floor), 202 Chrislea Road, Woodbridge, Ontario L4L 8S5. There are numerous blogs on the internet that identify this as either a telemarketing ploy, a scam or a fraud.

I was called January 17, 2009.  Exactly the same address and proposed prizes.  The man identified himself as George Morrison.  He didn't get around to asking for detailed information as I said that I had to find a babysitter before figuring out what date to attend.

They called me today with the same offer. But i have never gave away my home number as I do not remeber it !

i just receive a call from 213-709-6917.. they told me that i have sign a ballot in the mall and that i won and i can choose 1 out of the 5 prize ..she gave me her number 716-406-4415 and said to call her back to claim my prize. she told me its legit and i shouldn't take no money or credit card when i go to claim the prize but still she hasn't gave me an address . so i was still decided on my choice so i decided to call the 716 number and all the phone did was rang out .my mind told me just to google the numbers , and to find out the 213- number is in l.a and is a prepaid phone ,,,,.... sooo funny while im writing this someone from the same prize place just call me back name Mr.white ..he gave me the direction to his location ... the funny thing is that the address is 3 major intersection from where i live lol he ask me how old im and im like 19 and my bf is 24 and he hang up the phone .. lol this is the worst scam ever ,,cause my mom went there before because they call and said she one a trip for two . she and her husband went and all the man did is talked and told them they had to pay a certain amount of money inorder to go on the trip ... lol ......

We received 2 calls telling us we won a vacation get away. I insisted we never entered for any prize and we were not interested but he insisted it was free and a prize that maybe someone else entered us. (NOT likely.) He also asked when a good time to call back was so I said Sun. Here it is the next day and he calls back so I asked for the number and name of him and co. This is what I got...

I'm calling consumer affairs. Our number is on a no call list and when I told him to take our number off his call list he kept insisting we won.

I'm staying with my cousin and he got a call from a guy who said he won a contest he entered.  however, i know my cousin, he NEVER enters contests.  He never even buys lotterty tickets.  He just doesn't believe in any of that stuff.  

I offered to write down a messages, since my cousin wasn't home.  he refuesed to leave his name, and i refused to take a number without his name.

immediately after i hung up the phone, i googled this number, and found this blog.

i can't wait till my cousin gets home so i can tell him about this.  it will be interesting to see how he responds to the call i got for him.

Guy ("James Carter"--with an Indian accent) claims that I won a Marriott vacation package (which I never entered). Said it's "state regulated" and "you don't have to pay anything because winners don't pay." I was pretty terse with him and he asked me why I wasn't excited--I was like "I don't believe it." He feigned surprise.

He told me I had to go to a Ft. Lauderdale FL location to claim the prize and I told him I had to go and hung up.

David Jones with an east indian accent told me I have a choice of two trips as my prize for winning and that he has my hand written ballot in front of him.  That the prizes includes air fare from Buffalo NY.  I said I would look into the company he told me which is Canadian Valley Solutions that gives out prizes to promote their company. Gave me 716-406-4415 extension 100  to call him back at.  Thanks to you all, I don't have to waste any more time.

Just thought I would check to see where this area code was from.  Had no idea that I could goggle and get this kind of information. Wasn't home so I don't know what they were trying to sell this time.

googled this phone number while I was on the phone with these people.  They seem to be trying to give away a vacation but I don't understand where the 'catch' is?  I suppose they are trying to get a lot of your personal information for some unscrupulous purpose?  I don't know - I hung up with the guy when I was transferred to the manager and he was trying to confirm additional information.  (email address etc)

I told hin to mail the prize and he refused so I googled the number he gave me....then hung up when i pointed out to him the blog.... guess I am not going to Cancun for free.....

I got the call today saying that I had filled out a form in a mall either promonad mall or centre point and that we won  vacation. That I had to go to an address 216 chrislea in woodbridge.....
Now that I am thinking that I got a phone call from the same person a few day ago claiming that they are helping me to prevent my computer being compromised and asked me to go through some steps in my computer just show me that my computer is at risk and then asked me to hold and talk to his supervisor. The sfunny thing is that in both cases they said good evening although it was morning but overseas is evening.

Have our number removed for their list - second call regarding winning a prize and have to go to Woodbridge -  -- this tiem an East Indian  "Johnathan" --   hey Johnathan - ..what if you go to Woodbridge , get my prize and deliver it to my house -  I would be most thankful.>!

i was working in a company, their business was to make people fool,i went there to improve my speaking skills but i found that business illegitimate so left that job.even though i have learnt so many things there but i am really ashamed that i have worked with those people.i still remember my pitch i am disclosing it over here coz every one who come here should aware of these words and dont believe these people.
