I recieved a call from 716-408-1799. They claimed to be from the irs and left a message threatening me if I did not call back.

Yea I got the same message

Very very strong accent that you could barely understand him..... threatening me to call him back. ... couldn't even understand who he is supposed to be with

Please ignore the call from this number and report to irs.

I got the same msg stating I owed taxes (which I don't) then "wish me good luck" if I don't call them back.  Thank you Carol for posting the link above!

I just received a call from this number, and like everyone one else they said I owe taxes.  The one thing they said to me that made no sense was that I would be arrested in the next 30 minutes to an hour, now why would you tell me that if it was true!!  Be careful guys

I just received a call stating the same as you, I didn't answer but they left a message. Very strong accent and was not easy to understand. The message kept going, but I just hung up and deleted. Looked the number up which brought me here.

I don't know why but lately I've been getting tons of scammer calls, and I also think my number was spoofed. This guy called me like 3 times I never picked up. Then I got calls from a police dept in ny, I was like wtf maybe this one is real. I called back the pd and they had no idea who called me. Then I called back thr IRS guy and he said I called him having sex with my wife, wtf? I told him no I got your missed call and now I'm calling you. He said something about calling a detective and getting my location etc etc. I was like wtf I'm just calling you back. Then he hung up.

What I'm guessing happened is this guy spoofed the # from the police dept trying to scare me. Weird [***]. I'm getting too many of this calls so I'm just changing my #

Got a call from this number on my landline. "Officer" blahblahblah left an aggressive message on my voicemail. Called this number on a public payphone to have some fun (I was bored) and I asked for a random name  I just made up. A person answered saying he was the random name that I made up and I need to pay taxes. I told him I made up the name. He said that name passed away recently and I need to pay taxes. I asked him did Obamacare raised taxes and is that why the "IRS" is calling me? He sounded confused and mumbled about me needing to pay taxes. I lol'd and hung up on him.

Please be aware IRS will never call you. If you owe taxes they will send an official correspondence mail. If you don't respond to that mail, they will take whatever you owe from your tax refund after you do  your tax return.

I just don't answer out of state calls that I don't know and then add them to my reject list.

Today I got a threatening call from this number from officer Eric Foster.  I deleted it.

I just got this threating call.  It sounded like a computer generated voice.  The "person" said he was Officer Eric Foster and wished me good luck if I failed to return the call.  He said other things, but they were inaudible.   Now, I get telemarketers all the time, and I pay no attention to them,  but threatening me is  going too far.  Who is this?  I'd like to get even.

I could hardly understand this guy. his name is Officer Eric Foster.  He said if I don't call or my attorney doesn't call back he wished me good luck. He could have said something about taxes, its just I couldn't understand most of what he said. Not too many true attorneys or police officers are going to say i wish you good luck if you don't call back.

I'm sitting in my economics lecture, waiting for class to begin when I got the call. I ignored it and then listened to the voicemail twice thinking, "what the hell???" Taxes! I don't even have a job haha.  How do these scammers even get our numbers? I get like 15 bogus calls a week from various random locations in the US.

I got the voice message from a guy threatening me also who said "good luck "if I didn't reply. Someone needs to kick this guys butt!

Got the same call from a guy he left a message on my phone named rick foster called the number back he gave me a diffrent name with the same voice some one from india. He told me that the cops were no the way. He couldn't tell me where i worked or from what times i worked there. Talked about a pice of S#%* scam............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from this number that said he was an officer and I should not even "try to avoid calling back" and if I don't "all I can say is good luck." Who is this guy?

much like the other callers I received same message from officer derrick foster - basically said for me and/or my attorney not to ignore and if I did all he could do was wish me good luck as the situation unfolds badly for me.   can't tell you how much sleep I've lost....LOL      as a side note I feel sorry for the elderly and people with anxiety disorders as these are the people who probably fall victim to this scammer. thankfully there are sites as this where information can be shared and hopefully this idiot is caught and prosecuted by the FCC,  FTC, or some other law enforcement agency.
