Caller identifies self as Danella and provides a callback number of 1(800) 213-7163 with a reference number.

Although caller-ID says Daniella DeAngelis, doing a search on the callback number provides identification as American Coradius International LLc(ACI LLC) - a collection company.

Caller ID says Kristin Phillip, just another cover for American Coradius International.

I got a call from this number about 8:45 am asked for some one and I asked who is calling gave me his name and without even asking if I was that person just went on about saying that he was trying to take care of debt and rambled on and gave me alot of information about this persons account that was in collection and finally stopped him and told him first off I never said if the person was me or not and that he was in deep trouble due to the fact that he gave me so much information with out checking to make sure it was the right person.  What a total dumb box of rocks.  I am going to call the number back and tell them about it....and I am going to make sure that I speak to a supervisor about it and spoke to some one by the name of Mr. Carter and then he asked me a couple of questions and found out that I was not the person they were looking for after they asked for the last four of my ssn.

Today got a call from tele # 716-418-7211. The person said his name was Joe Dorio and was calling for "S...." and had a "personal issue" to discuss with her. I told him this is not her.  He did not identify himself as being from the company mentioned above in prior posts.

I get calls from these clowns everyday looking to collect money from family members who live out of state.
They say your relatives own money and you better talk to them.  They have big financial trouble.  I'm not sure if this is legal to discuss other peoples debt.

Someone from this number called at 8:30 this morning.  Just fishing for someones old debt. I thought there was a time limit for how early these calls could be made, like 9am?

Folks, there is a simple solution. Don’t answer the phone, don’t EVER talk with them. Why let them upset you? You cannot reason with them; they don't care. They buy debt for pennies on the dollar and then hire phone sales folks to collect. Best thing you can do is NOT LET THEM UPSET you. How?

1, Don't answer - ever
2, Block their number
3, Assign a silent ring tone the their number
4, Worst case, change phone number or get a magic jack (so cheap)

It is really that simple. They can’t be reasoned, with so expend no energy with them. If you continue to never answer, they will stop calling. If you answer once or try to explain, they will flag you as a possible collection and never go away.

How about if people paid their debts? Then possibly  these debt collectors wouldn't have to call you out your relatives ...just plain responsibility

This bunch called my cell phone today--there was no identifying name for person or business and I did not recognize the phone number or area code.  When I answered there was a man on the other end asking for a person by the last name of Sanchez which is NOT my name, nor the name of anyone I know.  I told them they had the wrong number and that I had held this particular cell phone number for more than a decade.  I did a reverse phone look up and understand that it is a cell phone and that the area code is Towanda NY of all places.  I don't know anyone from there, nor do I now care to.  From this site, I see that it is a collection company.   716-418-7211 is ACI or American Coradius International. Hmm.  Coradius sounds like some kind of unfortuante chronic disease.  "The heartbreak of Coradus..."  !!!  Either the company dialed wrong or whoever the Sanchez party is, they gave a bogus number to them which turned out to be mine.  Lucky me.  I will mark it in my contacts on my cell phone as a DO NOT ANSWER and then never answer again.  Easiest way to be done with it.

Got a call from this number.  Never answer calls if I don't recognize the number.  From what I've read on here they're a debt collector dialing wrong numbers.

It is against the TCPA for any debt collector to divulge debt information to any third party without consent. These people are violators and should be turned in to the SEC every time they contact someone. I was getting calls from them as were my friends in Mass...
