Calling two or three times a day but never leaves any message.

One of several numbers used by this company.    I've been getting calls from them for at least three YEARS, looking for a woman with a first name similar to mine, but not my name.    She also has a different last name than I have, lived in a city I've never lived in, and owes money (apparently) for something, which is very sad for her, but not my problem.    I have explained this several times, and although the calls will stop for a few months, they always start again.  There are several forums dedicated to these people, and none of them are flattering.

They call and intentionally give the wrong name in which they are  hoping you will call back to tell them you are not the person they asked for. Then they request to know who you are and begin the not very polite  statements. Do not call them back under any condition.

They are bottom feeders in the debt collection world, very aged debts in excess of 10 years. Most likely all of the employee's and principals of this company removed all the mirrors in their houses as they have a hard time seeing themselves for jerks they are.

Give it up ACI, get a real job and maybe your family will love you again...

called asked for someone who is not related to the number they dial..they keep calling..you know what you are doing is against the law right? keep calling so I can keep the log going to file charges..

Sure hope you're also going to sue them.  If you know who they are , send a cease and desist letter, which would help any legal action, but since it seems that they are trying to hide who they are, that may not be an option.  Good luck; take them for everything you can.  Here's an address for that letter:

Yeah got 2 calls from this dirt bag of a company. I agree the clown on the other end wouldn't shut up and let me speak and when he hears I'm getting upset tells me to calm down. I was like sir if you keep interupting me I will keep getting upset and I told him if you don't like it sir please hang up you initiated the phone call and if you don't like me harrasing you then please hang up. filed a complaint and next time they call I will be more then happy to file another FCC complaint.

Don't know who this is.  Looked up number on internet.

Call almost daily but dont leave a msg.  Caller ID only says New York

Called 5 times in one minute! I have unknown numbers set to auto reject - so I guess they thought if they called in a row they would get through!

I have been getting calls from these people when I have nothing that is in collections. I asked them what they were calling me for and they told me they would not release why they are calling me until I give them my:
social security #
address
date of birth
and full name
I told them I would not tell them anything until they tell me why they are calling me and they got upset and hung up on me twice. the third time they gave me to a supervisor who also said they will not tell me anything until I tell them this information to prove I am who I am. How the crap can you call someone and not tell them why you are calling them? I called the main number they have listed on their website and the office is closed. I believe these are scamers trying to get your information to steal it.

Did you filw charges? Did you get any action on this? They call me too but I never answer numbers I don't recognize.

I just received a phone call from this number. They call and do not leave a message. When I did answer, they did not let me speak. They were very rude and I had to hang up. I pay all of my bills on time, so I'm not sure why they are calling me. They won't even tell me why they are calling unless I give them my social security number, date of birth, etc. I'm not stupid enough to give out my personal information on a recorded line.

Keep calling never leave a message, if I don't know the number it goes unanswered.

Don't answer.. they are phising for information

"hello?" gave them about 2 seconds to say something....   nada..  I started researching insurance before the deadline in about a week.  I have brand new number and gave it out whether online forms or to insurance salesmen guesstimating about 10 times on mondya,. I have received twice that many unsolicited incoming calls including the number above.

Received a call this morning. I appreciate the information on this site. The caller refused to say why she was calling so I hung up.
