The website doesn't list partners or associates, which is strange for a law office's website.

Also, there is a second PLLC under the same name, on the same street, in the same city, state and zip that is a construction company.

I don't think that an attorney would create an LLC that shares the same name with a construction company located right down the road.  According to Mapquest, 556 S. Transit isn't a valid address,  so I suspect something is fishy.

Have received two calls from a "Joe Connelly", says he is a legal assistant for MRD & Associates, regarding a legal matter connected to my social security number. Says if I don't want this to sent to court in my county, to call him back immediately.

Isn't it illegal for someone out of state to try to get you to call back with threats of taking you to court?

Seems like some kind of debt collector, however anything I have outstanding would be past the statute of limitations now anyway.

If you search the address on Google Maps, the street view shows that theeis a UPS Store there,  pretty sure the Suite number in their address is just their mailbox number at the UPS Store. Don't think most  "law offoces" get their mail delivered to a UPS Store.

I just would to know if this law office is legit. I gave them almost four hundred dollars of my money, was told I would receive a confirmation email, and I have not received anything. To make matters worse, I was told that this company is a scam. If anyone knows about this please let me know so I can take some action and get my money back.

Mr. Sean Scott, a supposed paralegal for MRD Law Office, called me from this number. He was extremely rude, harassing, and intimidating and threatened to have my son put in jail if a debt was not paid. Since he was so rude, I asked to speak to someone else in the office, and I was hung up on. I called back again, but the guy would not be civil on the phone. I doubted the validity of the caller and told him that I wanted to speak to someone in charge at the office as I felt that a person in a law office would not be as rude as he was being. He hung up on me again. I called back and left a message for someone in charge in the office to return the phone call. I also went to the website and sent a request for the name of the lead attorney, the address, and information about the law office. I have yet to hear anything. In researching this law office, I have found that others have been treated in the same rude, harassing, threatening manner. People on various websites have said that this place is a scam.
