Man said I had a lien and they had refigured the amount and I now owe. I was going to be arrested soon. I called their bluff and they hung up.

Caller said he was from the US Treasury and I was going to be arrested.  I hung up.  This is a scam.

Man with accent on a bad cell phone breaking up so I couldn't understand what he was saying, except for the phone number.
Mentioned the word "criminal".  I think he is the criminal.

Called that the U.S. treasury had some action against me and that I could be brought before a magistrate or federal judge. Mehta would a prerecorded repeating message bring this news if true?

2 calls from this number with different caller IDs one hour apart, "unknown" and "Olean NY" left same message as above. I must admit  I got a good laugh out of this as they called my 99 year old mother's phone number. Blocked the whole area code, she doesn't know anyone in the 716 area code

Indian possibly Pakistani accent. left message : second Attempt US Treasury and If I ignired, I would be arrested.

Now a third call from... Gave name as Steve Martin...left message again.

Got the same recorded message from a guy with a bad accent about I better call back so I can help them help me before they arrest me! Funny thing they don't mention any names of who they are trying to reach. Well I can hardly wait for "them" to come and arrest me and see what false charge they would try to prove. So sad these people waste their time making such calls. Whats sadder is that there are people that probably fall for this crap and send money to scammers.

Yeah, Steve Martin called me too.  The Wild and Crazy guy.....  This guy can hardly speak English.  Told me I'm gonna be arrested by the "constabulatory" (WTF is that?)  "within the hour" and put in handcuffs.  Same as what one of their competitive scammers told me a month ago and I'm still waiting.  I told him I'd give him twice as much as he says I owe if he can name the president whose picture is on the front of a penny.  Of course he couldn't so he told me to go "F" myself and he hung up.  Gee, I thought even the people at the IRS knew that.  Jackholes.  These guys are so lame that they're fun to play with!

We received  3 messages of harassment on our voice mail from "Steve Martin" on January 24. 2015 at 9:15 am, 9:50 am and 10:18 am.  It showed his calls were from Olean, NY.  He said that there is an enforcement action executed by U.S. Treasury and he wants us to cooperate with him and so on!!! He didn't mention what office he is from, he also had an accent close close to d sound of hindi or Pakistani but I'm not expert on accents. He spoke very fast and sounded to intimidate and scare people which is normal for scammers and fraud!!!
One thing to remember anything with IRS or court order you will definitely receive a letter from them Not a phone call!!!

Voice sounds recorded or altered. "Steve Martin (?)" name given, along with a scary judge/magistrate/grand jury message and "let us help you".  So thankful for this way to search #'s of these scammers! Have a great day!

Non US accent message re arrest warrant from US Treasury if call not returned and arrangements made.
Thankfully IRS and media outlets have reported this ongoing, annoying, threatening scam.  Too bad authorities don't take a small bite out of their too busy schedules, trace these callers, and out-scam the scammers with a true arrest and fine warrant.

2 calls from this number this morning too! Only left one voicemail same as above. Steve Martin from us treasury. Ignoring this would be a second offense. Would be arrested and taken to a magistrate (?).

Just got off the phone with these people very threatening wanted me to go get cash and buy a voucher said officers would be at my door in 45 mins to arrest me.  While I was on the phone I looked up the number and found all these similar posts - when I mentioned this he hung up very quickly.  Heavy accents.  Should be reported.

Just received a 2 call, and now the 3rd, from Steve

Just called and said they were from the treasury, I hung up. Called them back and a lady answered. Asked for customer support manager and she hung up! Call your local police office and report this! Funny I am sure that the Treasury Department works on SATURDAY! The spammers are calling from Olean, (Buffalo) Erie County, New York, The police in that area can be contacted to report spamming at (716) 376-5672.

Left a message about treasury and being brought before a magistrate.  Voice had an accent.  
Pretty lame scam.

A recorded message on my landline phone.  He said his name is Steve Martin and he called to inform me that there was an enforcement action against me executed by the US Treasury for a Federal criminal offense.  I was to be brought before a grand jury.  He said his call would be the second notice and he would like me to cooperate with "us" so he can help me help them.  He repeated his name and telephone number:716-543-7015.  He never identified who he was representing.  He had a British accent.  It's obviously a scam and because I have a recorded message I will ask our Sheriff's Dept if they would like to listen to it.
