Called and threatened me with legal action, stated i wrote bad checks on a closed account. And they were going to have a warrent issued.

Long story short, still have the same account. Its never been closed and i dont write checks.

But if i pay them directly it will all go away.

Same thing happened to me. The sheriff's been notified and I told them to bring it on. They told me they didn't want to embarrass me by coming to my employe. Good luck d bag.... I'm a bartender.... you'd be the one getting embarrassed as we all like to run our mouths

Same thing happened to me yesterday and I called him today. Told him I'd have a sheriff here waiting for him.

They have called multiple times threatening to show up at my work. That I was being served with papers and my supervisor would have to sign them. First of all that's illegal to discuss any debt with anyone besides the person or co signer. Second I have never taken out a loan with the people they are stating and I don't owe any past debts. Idk how they got my number but this is definetly a scam.

Suggestion - mention the calls to your employer.  You never know what these thieves will try to pull.  You are never warned if a summons is coming either!  This sounds like the "Buffalo Bullies" collection scam.  Your number was probably picked at random  in hopes of finding a sucker they could scare into paying a non-existent debt.

Got a call from them today talking about I am going to be served today at work by 4:30 if i don't get it resolved today....when I call back to speak with some one no answer....I this real.

I have been getting numerous calls from this number stating there are several judgements against me as well as fraud charges! They are threatening to come to my place of employment as well. They have also started calling my work phone, my husband and my grown children. We are contacting the sheriff.

Total scam and pretty stupid scammers.  If there are judgments against you, all you have to do is call up or go down to your local main courthouse and tell them the call you received.  Then  have the clerk  check your name against the current defendants list.

Just white collar criminals going around trying to scare up money from people.  Ignore and block the calls.

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

Basically a debt scamming operation.  Most likely out of New York.  Ignore and block the calls.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  DIME  until the debt is validated.

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.
