Harrassing phone calls saying we will add this to your credit report.

got a call from them on my cell...i ignored it and they didn't leave a message

This person named mr. Reese called and said he was a paralegal and said that if my disabled mother did not come up with 4,400.00 within 48 hours they were going to file a e-felony by default on her. And that if she did not pay this money she was going to jail for 90 days. what do you think about this one? I called his bluff and he kept changing his stories at that time.I told him to give me a extra two days to see what i could come up with. That i needed to conferr with my lawyer friend on a friday, he gave me til thursday. What do you think?

Either Pescatello is making these calls from his home or his number is being spoofed by one of many criminal debt collectors in the Buffalo, NY area.

At any rate, this is a SCAM. If the debts this person is calling about were LEGITIMATE, they would NOT be threatening to place derogoratory remarks on someone's credit report or with arrest or claiming that a felony has been committed WHICH ARE ALL ILLEGAL. *THESE ARE ACTS OF EXTORTION AND NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE NY STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AS WELL AS THE AG IN YOUR OWN STATE, THE FTC, YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND TO THE FBI!*

I can confirm all of these allegations. They Have been calling me. I DID have a legitimate debt while I was in the navy, its about 2,000 and they had ALL THE DETAILS on it. I stopped paying it when I couldnt afford it and i knew it would go on credit and I felt crappy enough about that. Now im out of the navy and struggling with unemployment and they are calling saying if I dont pay they will RECALL ME TO THE MILITARY, CHANGE MY HONORABLE DISCHARGE TO A DISHONORABLE, AND THROW ME IN THE BRIG FOR 1 YEAR!!

If this can be done, its a sad sad world. I got an honorable discharge because I served my time with honor and did everything I was told regardless of my personal wants. Now you mean to tell me the mil will go out of their way to cornhole me when im done and scrambling for a foothold in the very place that enjoyed the benefits of my servitude?

So, The first time they called... I paid em like $675 and setup my debit for recurring payments of about $175. I guess it didnt clear and now they want to lock me up for "wire fraud over state lines". COME ON! I am obviously trying to pay. My inability to do so SHOULD NOT BE A CRIME!

AT FIRST A MAN TOLD ME HE WAS A PARALEAGAL AND THAT I WAS BEING CHARGE WITH CRDDIT CARD FRAUD DUE TO AN ACCOUNT THAT I HAD NO PAID ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO.  I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ACCOUNT AND TOLD THEM TO LET ME LOOK INTO IT PLEASE AND TO CALL ME BACK.  I CALLED THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES THAT THEY SAID I OWED MONEY TO AND THEY TOLD ME NOTHING IS ON FILE.  THIS WAS A HUGE SCAM.  THEY ALSO USED THE FACT THAT I WAS IN THE ARMY AND THAT IF I DID NOT PAY THEM IT WOULD RUIN MY ARMY CAREER AND THAT IS CRAP.  BUT, IF YOU CALL AND HARASS YOU THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO GET MONEY FROM YOU AND THEIR STORIES WILL CHANGE.  LOOK INTO IT BEOFRE YOU GET SCAMED.

DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING.  THEY ARE A BIG SCAM.  DEBT COMPANIES ARE NO ALLOWED TO THREATEN YOU AND BULLY YOU AS LONG AS YOU ARE MAKING AN EFFORT TO PAY.  I AM AN OFFICER IN THE ARMY AND THEY KEEP THREATNING ME ABOUT AN ACCOUNT I NEVER HAD.

These guys break all kinds of laws...  Don't pay them... SUE THEM!

Some dude from this # called me and tryed to scare me into paying a debt that has passed the statute of limitations. When I pointed this out, he tryed 2 lie & say it wasn't. I told him to send me something in writing, he asked 4 my email but didn't email me.......

They called my neighbors!  They asked for me and my neighbors told them I had moved, which I just did move.  I hate the fact that they are bothering my neighbors!  How embarrassing - and what if they keep calling my neighbors....

Got 5 calls today from these jokers. Said that a credit card company will sue me for fraud if I do not pay half immediately.
I requested verification in writing but they would only fax or e mail me.
I faxed them a letter to stop contacting me or I would contact my attorney the FTC and my state's Attorney General's office.

I've received 2 messages on my cell phone from these people.  One is a recorded message and the other was from a man wanting to speak to "my attorney"  won't say what it's in reference too or anything.  How do these people get away with this crap?!?

I received a message on Friday from a man stating he needed to speak to my attorney before "filing" but wouldn't give any details.  got another message today from a pre-recorded message saying this was not a sales call!  How do they get away with calling you over and over again?  I haven't returned their call because I believe it's all a big scam!

A man named David Michael Anthony stated I must give my CC# to him over the phone to pay off a debt and I said no. He gave me a fax no of 719-675-6151 and said to fax the CC no to him instead..well after researching online I came across this website and found out that he is mis representing himself as an attorney.  I called another no 877-847-6648 ext 115 and got him directly and then called the same no without using an extension and a woman answered (probably his wife)  well i told him that i was going to contact NY state AG and my local AG and the FCC and an attorney ..he hung up on me.

Someone representing themself as Michael Cohen calling from Northeast Law Offices called myself, my sister, my brother, and my mom.  The person told my mom that if she couldn't get a hold of me within twenty four hours that they would issue a warrant for my arrest.  He made similar statements to my sister and brother.

Thought that they were not legit due to posts on here,I was served a subpeona at work today,and have a court date next week,dont ignore them......

David Michael Anthony called my ex-husband and left a voice message for me or my attorney to contact him asap before this case goes to litigation. I have not had that phone number for 2 years. I called back to see what was going on. He said I have a credit card debt from 4 years ago. I have never had a credit card w/ the bank he was claiming. He told me that I was being sued and they could garnish my wages and take my tax refund. He said he is a "lawyer" and wins 98% of the time. He needed an answer from me right away. I could pay 75% of the bill or they would filed on Monday. He also stated that they know all about me because they did a background check. He called me at work on Monday. I never gave them my work phone or said it was ok to call at work. He has violated the Fair Debt collection act. I have reported him to the FTC, New York Attorney General and my state Attorney General. FYI the date he is saying this debt occured is past the statue of limitaions for my state. When it is past the statue of limiations they can no longer use the courts to force you to pay, ie garnish your ways. Their case if went to court will be dismissed

This is messed up. My GRANDPA recieved a call from this company stating that he had cosigned on a loan for me in 2002 when I was in the Military and that I had not paid the whole loan. The truth is that I got out of the military, forgot that it was an allotment coming out, and never heard anything about it. Its been almost seven years, coincidence? I don't think so. He threated my grandparents with taking them to court and suing them for the money, which is not apparently twice the amount of the original loan! The truth of the matter is that my Grandpa never singed on a loan for me, they had his social security number and everything! THIS IS A SCAM!! Do not pay them anything. They improperly threated my grandparents, wont send me any information, and Joseph Samuels, told me that the "UCMJ People" are after me! In truth, they are not after me, I recieve the GI Bill and a VA pension so Im sure if they were they would have gotten to me by now! They are a Scam, the post that says the guy was served with a supoena is almost surely one of them. Also, when I was on the phone with this idiot he transferred me to the so called UCMJ people and no one of course answered. I tried to call back numerous time and my number has been blocked from their system! Dont give them money and report them to the authorities!!

Some lady called my sister's boyfriend's cell phone today and said her name was Danny.  He asked for my sister and her boyfriend said that this was not her phone but he could get her a message.  Danney went on to say that if my sister did not pay them some money within the next 24 hrs, their were going to file charges on her.  He asked what for and she said that she could not give out the details.  Kind of funny that she can't give the details, but can say that they are going to file charges on someone.  Seems like those would be the details a legitimate company would not give out.  This sounds completely bogus and very unconstitutional.  This country was founded by debters and the day idiots like that can put people behind bars is the day to find somewhere else to live!
