This is the caller ID of an apparent scam company called Moreno & Woods. It is my understanding they acquire an old debt that is past the statute of limitations and use scare tactics to get you to pay.  Check out number 888-231-8060 for more information.

These clowns have called three people that I am aware of to obtain information about me in the sneakiest of ways. They did not gain anything but it's just so pitiful that one has to continue to relive very painful times in our lives, because of these unscrupulous yahoos.....There has got to be a way to stop these viscious pricks

My father who lives in another state was called today by Russell Tinsdale to try to find out information about my whereabouts.  He told him he was a corporate attorney and that someone was filing charges against me.  My father did not give him any information but somehow he managed to locate my home number.  When I got home this evening I had two messages on my phone (like one wasn't enough). The messages left said he was from Moreno & Woods law firm.  Thank goodness I googled his name and the law firm before calling back. Thanks to everyone who posted...Now I know NOT to call him back.

called and claimed to be a lawyer, with a bench warrent. Said I needed to pay him a large amount of money within three days time,in order to stop the warrent. When I said I could not pay that amount in that time frame he bargained for a lesser amount.
I understand this person is a debt collector and not a lawyer so be very aware of his practices of frightening people to get money any way he can.

i was called from phone # 716-688-7183 from a woman stts her name is tammy tunner and told to call her back at 866-928-3160 ext 110 if i do not want a warrant issued or summons  to superior court. woman sttd she was a senior attorney from moreno and woods.

Mr. Shane Haley called me and said he was from Moreno and Woods and they had purchased a credit card account from over 12 years ago.  He needed $100.00 to keep the account from going to court and me from going to jail.  He now keeps calling every day saying that he needs to balance of the account by the end of May.  I think it is an easy way for some people to make a fast buck.

Senior legal assistant....and county court....get your stories straight.....pay your bills and stop trying to get off of everything in your lives.......problem with people today you all want to sue and get off of paying debts that you racked up.......all of you pay your bills and be a real man or woman!

This number is for Moreno and Woods, a dummy company set up for Marshall & Ziolkowski. These are SCAMMERS who will try to get you to pay them for non-existent debts. They will use any trick in the book (posing as law enforcement, threatening criminal action, calling you a liar and telling you they're going to ruin your credit, etc.) to try and intimidate you. DO NOT provide them with any personal or financial information - tell them you know they're scammers and you have already contacted the appropriate authorities with all the false information they provided you.

I seriously doubt that the name "Tammy Turner" is the real name of this person who called you. It may have been the name this person used when they called you, but I seriously doubt it was this persons real name...

FYI...Moreno And Woods address 1900 Empire Blvd, #252, Webster NY, 14580 is a UPS store located in the Baytown Shopping Center in Webster, which is in the Rochester area...

As to where these vultures are actually (as in physically...) located is anyone's guess...

It seem very suspicious that they use a rented mail drop (i.e. UPS store) as a business address...

If you have not already done so, tell these vultures that you are demanding any and all documentation that they claim to have which validates this debt ... FYI after 12 years the statute of limitations has run out on the debt anyway and it would be very doubtful they have any documentation, but demand it anyway...

Make them prove the debt is valid. I'll bet you they can't...

The crime wave in Western New York continues…Keith Marshall and Richard Ziolkowski have set up their criminal debt collection operation near Buffalo, NY, debt collection capital of the world.

In typical ‘Buffalo-Style’ tactics Marshall & Ziolkowski are out there posing as law enforcement, attorneys and court personnel to extort monies from innocent consumers, under the threat of pending litigation they are incapable of.

Marshall & Zilkowski (or as the front of their building says MAZE) violate FDCPA so many times in one call you can walk out of court with the titles to their Mercedes and pay off the debts you actually owe.

Collecting on time barred debts is common with these slimy future prison inmates, they lie about everything, have no clue of the law, and don’t care.

We have received complaints from military personnel, here is one email:

“Right before Christmas we were contacted by these people.  After talking with Shawn Miller, we realized things weren't right.  Mr. Miller said that he would end my husband's military career, prevent his security clearance, and destroy his credit.  He also said that they target the military because the military will pay.  A lady then called me back, Jennifer Hoke.  I told her that this was old from 2001.  In fact it is due to go off our credit in May 2007.  I told her to send it in a letter to us.  They never did.  Finally on Dec. 23rd she said that if we didn't pay by 5:00pm (a favorite time for them) she would file it.  I told her no.  On the 24th, she called and said that she would sign off on the papers and we would be served.  Well it has not yet happened.  Shawn Miller was represented as a Paralegal, but with his language I don't know about that.  Jennifer never told me that she was collecting for a debt. . She repeatedly told me that we would have to go to court.  I told her that I understood that but we needed an answer to the complaint.  She said that we would have to appear in court, and if my husband didn't an arrest warrant would be issued.  But we haven't been served.  He is going to deploy in June and we want this settled before then.  This is a debt from 2000, and was charged off in 2001. Jennifer also told us that she would make this debt new again.  I told her that the 3 year limits were up, which is the limit in North Carolina.  She said that she would talk to the lawyer about that.  We were supposed to have a conference call with the lawyer, but they didn't call at the appointed time.

This hrrassment has been going on for quite some time.  Stopped for  a while.  Today it started up again !!!!  a man "Alfonzo Maye" called asked for my daughter. Told him she was not here.  He asked would I give her a message>  I said sure, because I recongized his voice.  I knew he was with Mareno & woods before he told me.  This has been an ongoing saga.
We  have contacted the FBI in New Orleans, LA.  Due to the fact an individual told my husband that FBI agent (I don't want to state his name) called her re: debt my daughters owes.  I knew better the gentlemen's name they gave with the FBI is very high up in the FBI office and he would not call an individual regarding such a matter.  Make a long story short we will contact the FBI again. Oh and I told MR MAye???
we had reported all this stink to the FBI.  He said to me mam you did not have to do that.  Then he hung up !!!
Don't pay these SOB's a dime.  They won't send proof of the debt, because there is none. They threatened me by telling me "Your family is going down.  do you hear me all of your family."  
One other thing when they said they were going to file to file suit. I said please do it we want to meet you in court.

The FBI wont do much, so a very stupid gesture is going to need to be done on the part of moreno and woods. I have been to their office posing as a pizza delivery. They are not the people pictured in their web site. Sloppy dressed, with pizza boxes on their desks, filled with cigarette smoked rooms. These conartists read these boards.. Hello my Lisa. received a call from 1-716-688-7104 by a donna quinn she threatened to have me served with papers and freeze my accounts if I didn't pay by October 31, they called on on the 14th of October. They are jerks and lier's how dare they call and impersonate our law enforcement who are honest people not like the thieves they are. THIS IS A SCAM DON'T FALL FOR IT

I was harassed by an Atty Russell Tinsdale today..,what a piece of crape he is.  I will go to full extremes to make sure this scam artist is put behind bars.  I will contact the Fair Trades Commission and Atty Gen office of NY tomorrow and report Moreno and Woods' scam CA.  Hopefully if more people complain and do something about it..something good will come out of it.  Thanks for your comments.
