- LiLi| 2 repliesI too received a phone call from Kevin Williams. He stated on the VM to call and do payment arrangements. Check this!!! This company only accept credit or debit which is crazy. I offered to send a money order and they said that they cannot accept this type of payment. I called the state statues and they stated that these people are not registered with their state and they cannot take you to jail over a pdl. Its very illegal. Do not give your credit or debit card information to these people. Its a SCAM. I was also supposed to be served papers and that was almost a month ago. I also check with the clerk of courts for my county and nothing was filed against me. If papers are being served, it must go through the court system of your county which is public information and if its not there you have nothing to worry about. Keep a list of how many times they call, what they say, and who said it. Try to get hard information like the address and get the person you talked to full name and id if possible... These people are horrible.

- Carol| 4 repliesCompany appears to be legit. We will see.
I got a call and it was for an old debt I forgot about. They answered the phone "legal department." They left me a voicemail stating that I had one chance to call them back and decide whether I wanted to be served at home or at work. When I inquired about why the debt went from $315.00 to $515.00, I was given the opportunity to settle the amount for $315.00 instead of $515.00 plus legal fees of processing + the embarrassing process of garnishment of my wages at my new employer.
This company appears uses legal methods to collect, even if we don't like how it sounds when we are given only one option to settle the debt. They would only take a credit card or a debit card over the phone. I guess too many broken promises to pay have been used up by everyone who has ever owed money to this company. I was nervous as hell to provide credit card over the phone...we will see how this turns out. They better keep their end of the deal, that's all I have to say.- Caller: First Legacy

I posted this on another site...
United process servers, inc. 800-396-9995 located in Santa Barbra, CA. This is a good company but may be using there name in another state. I have been a P.I. and Process Servers for 30 years and these people who call are fake. One name is Pat Miller. Company does not know him. Google business name and check website out. No process server is going to call you and let you know that you are going to be served. Any questions bobd8@verizon.net - debt collector replies to LiLiPay your bill and stop worrying about it
- Jim replies to bobBob, I owed a debt with this company and they were extremely helpful with me paying this debt back i actually paid less than what i took this loan out for. The reason they said they dont accept mail orders or any other type of payment through mail is that if it gets lost in the mail, whos responsible. After i paid this company the $485, after the final payment i received a email stating i had no more obligation to this company or to no other company about this debt. I think you need to get ur facts straight and ur head out of your ass.

- nancy replies to CarolYou should never pay anyone but the original company you owe money to, and by law they must accept any type of payment. This sounds like a scam. Never ever under any circumstances give out a credit card and most definitely not a debit card number over the phone. Debts are sold and bought by many companies after original company sells it off. There are many unscrupulous companies out there.
This I tell you from my friends experience with such companies.
