had a voice recording saying to call back at this # 866-716-1545.. I think the co. name is mercantile adjustment bureau..believe some kind of collection agency.

left incomplete message on my machine.  Caller ID'd these characters [MAB].  One of the Buffalo Bandits looking for one of my kids most likely.  Think there's another of these people out of Rush, NY.

I recieved a call from them tonight.  Go to Bud Hibbs.com.  They have info on these people.  I will get in touch with Bud Hibbs and will also see about getting some legal assistance just in case these people try something illegal.

CALLER BY THE NAME OF JOHN SAID HE WAS TRYING TO REACH XXXXXXXXXX. HE WAS WITH MERCHANTILE ASSOSICATES AND THEY WERE INVESTAGATING A PRE-LEGAL COMPLAINT AGAINST XXXXXXX'S NAME AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.   HE REPEATED THE MESSAGE AND URGENTLY REQUESTED XXXXXXX TO CALL HIM AT THIS NUMBER.

They called and didn't leave a message. Don't know who they are.

Random call from this number saying to call back at 800 number. Only a partial message was recorded. Quick google search brought me to here (read this before doing anything):

HAd this number call a few times..When I do answer no one is ever on the line or they hang up...So I do even bother answering anymore...

I just got this call and they said they were calling about my Georgia Natural Gas Account.  Don't know how they got my cell phone number but I am total electric and have been living in the same house for 15 years since I moved out of my parents home.

Called keeps stating there is a court case against me.
Look into all courts nothing with the case # they leave

Answered, no one was on the line. When I called back, all circuits were busy. Called toll-free, 866-716-1545, man checked my number and gave name of someone they were looking for, sure wasn't me!!!!!

We receive many hangups, which interfere with business. I called the toll free number listed (thankyou for posting 866-716-1545) in this forum. MAB was very kind and accommodating and removed both our numbers from their call list on the spot.

Caller with this number has called wifes cell phone yesterday and today, 5/21/2007 and 5/22/2007. She did not answer, no message was left

Recieved several calls in last few days.  Hangs up before I can answer or if I do there is no one there. I have a prepaid cell and they still call

CALLER BY THE NAME OF PATRICK FROM THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT CALIING FOR SOMEONE THAT DOES NOT LIVE HERE. I TOLD HIM HE HAD THE WRONG NUMBER AND TO PLEASE REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM THEIR SYSTEM. HIS RESPONSE WAS " WE WOULD IF YOU ANSWER THE DAM PHONE " AND I HUNG UP.

I had recently gotten a call from a very rude individual asking to speak to someone that does not live at this residence.

they have been calling my phone any time of the day or night. they call several times a day and leave incomplete messages every time. im only sixteen years old, i dont see how or why a collection agency could get my number, especially since its a cell phone that they continuously call. its getting very annoying.
