Whats messed up is that i finally answered the phone only to have no one answer!
So I called back (which I dont normally do)
And the Fraternal order of Police answered

They called 10/29 eve.  Wasn't home and of course no message.  Harrisburg area code (three hours away).  Another number Fraternal Police use is 717-204-0026 and 0027,  So annoying.  Thank goodness for Google!!!

This is the fourth different number that these SOBs have used I blocked it again I hope they burn in hell. M-er f-ers

Just got a call from them this morning.  I immediately reported them to the FCC.  Ha.  No more calls from them!

No message left.  If it really is FOP, why calling at 7pm on a Saturday night?  Don't they get enough money from taxes and tickets?

This is a private group that has nothing to do with any police department.
While they claim to be raising money for State Police, Your Local Police Department and  Fraternal order of Police!

They try to sell tickets to the circus or any number of things. Don't give them any info.
The real Organizations will not call you. At least that's what one news article I read said.
Most of the money the 'scammers' get goes to keeping up their own operations.

They called me at 8:45
on Sunday night. Grrr.  I didn't answer the phone this time because I recognized the number, but I have answered past calls and told them to remove my number from their call list, but they continue to call all the time.

They called yet again. 111/08/14 @5:55pm. Guess they are hoping someone will answer. Not a chance. Calling around dinner time. LOL. I was not sure if I got a call from this number before and glad I checked to see. It shows Lancaster, PA on my caller ID. Sure it is just a telemarketer or something like that and NO one that I know. Will continue to check to see if they call again and just hope they give up.

Not true, the FOP hires outside firms to do their fundraisers and will call. At this time right now, the FOP Lodge 27 is doing a fundraiser for their annual Christmas show in Ridley....not a scam if you get this one. When this lodge fundraises it is for their shows which you get tickets....
