Just a hang-up.

It was a recorded message saying  "Hi, this is so&so from Google" and I hung up before it went on.

Just a hang up. No message left.

CALLED NUMBER BACK AND IT SAID IT HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED!

Suspicious number who are low lives. Guess they hung up so I'm now aware if they try again.  It's sad how these people sink so low to with these calls.

1-2 unintelligible words on recorded message, then a "hang up".

A recorded message saying that I can put an ad on goole and it will show up first on athe list for my busines...I don't own a business!

Called office so I answered for the heck of it (normally I pick up and hang up) - robocall - "Hello, this is Sharon, your local Google specialist..." so THEN I hung up!

Did not answer, but it triggered a message light nonetheless... but no message.

Just hung up as soon as I answered.

Fake google call just hang up or ignore

call number 1,345,678 from google scam ... it never ends ... all day long we answer calls from these emeffers ... you block one number, 10 new numbers pop up

They wanted to get you on Google front page, so I pushed 1. Then they wanted you to leave info, so I hung up. What is going on? We have better things to do.

Does anyone really do business with scoundrels who call like this?  I'm astounded.

I pressed 1 and Daniel picked up.  He asked me my name.  So I could make it just a little confusing I told him that MY name was Daniel.  I then asked him how I could help him.

He tried to regain his (scammy) composure but it was tough.  I felt bad for Daniel.  NOT.

I pretended as though I was looking for someone to shoot the breeze with.  Discussed how my day was going, etc.

He then went for the pitch and asked if he had reached XYZ business.  

"No.  They went out of business. . I have this number now."

Daniel said he would add the number to their do-not-call list.

that was easier than I thought.

Received call from them this morning, offering search engine optimization, specifically w/google, for my "business".  I have never had a business.  When I called back to demand removal from their list, I got the "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service..." recording.  I did a bit of research and found out anyone can download recordings like this and set up their phones to answer with the recording of their choice.  Very sneaky...my phone number was unlisted, after many years Verizon made a mistake and published it w/o my knowledge... boo hiss. I am on both state and federal do not call lists, to no effect.  It's frustrating to have laws that aren't being enforced.  You report and block and new numbers pop up like dandelions and the telelmarketers come up with new ways to keep you from calling them, but they can and do call whenever they feel like it.  Humbug.

This is SO ANNOYING - a call was coming in from this phone number and I did not recognize it so I picked-up to hear a recorded message. Tried to call back to take our phone number off the list and got a message - "this phone number has been disconnected" - how do these people manage to get away with this?
